🚨HELL YES!!! JB Pritzker just dropped the mic and is calling for Project 2029. A blueprint to UNDO TRUMP. His plan would: -PROSECUTE Trump crooks who broke laws, abused power, and attacked our democracy. - Promote justice, reestablish our relationships, and rights that WORK for ALL. IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME. No more chaos. No more impunity. No more letting fascists run wild. Democrats are DONE playing nice. LFG.

🚨HUGE: Gov. JB Pritzker has signed a law that creates a pathway to sue ICE agents for unlawful detentions and BANS immigration arrests around Illinois courthouses. This is what protecting due process and fighting federal overreach looks like.

BREAKING: Trump’s State Department just declared abortion, DEI, and LGBTQ+ rights “human rights violations” — and the world is stunned. In a jaw-dropping escalation of the Trump administration’s war on basic freedoms, the State Department has quietly rewritten the definition of “human rights” to target abortion access, LGBTQ+ equality, DEI policies, free-speech protections abroad, and even countries that allow refugees into their borders. Yes — Donald Trump is now trying to redefine human rights as the opposite of human rights. The stunning new guidance, sent to every U.S. embassy and consulate on Earth, orders American diplomats to treat the following as human rights abuses: • Countries with state-funded abortion • Countries with workplace DEI protections • Countries that allow gender-affirming care for transgender youth • Countries with “hate speech” laws that crack down on extremist threats • Countries that accept migrants seeking safety In other words, if a country protects women, LGBTQ+ people, minorities, immigrants, or the public from violent speech, the Trump administration wants the world to believe that country is violating human rights. You truly can’t make this up. The administration even wants diplomats to count how many abortions each country performs each year — as if a public health statistic is some kind of war crime, instead of a tool that saves lives. And while Trump is suddenly obsessed with “human rights,” his first human rights report under this new philosophy was one-third the length of previous years and conveniently left out horrific conditions in El Salvador’s prisons and China’s abuses against peaceful protesters. Because when Trump says “human rights,” he apparently means “rights for my base, not for human beings.” Naturally, human rights experts are sounding the alarm. Former senior State Department official Uzra Zeya called the new rules “jaw-dropping animosity toward LGBTQ+ people” and slammed Trump for trying to label DEI as a violation of human rights — calling it a “new low.” Amnesty International warned that Trump’s changes tell the world the U.S. no longer believes in the human rights system it helped build in the aftermath of World War II. Even foreign policy veterans who rarely criticize administrations openly are aghast. One official put it bluntly: “The Trump administration is weaponizing human rights to attack the marginalized instead of protecting them.” Let’s be clear: This is not a human rights policy. It is a culture-war wish list disguised as diplomacy. Trump is using America’s global platform to export the most extreme parts of the MAGA agenda — punishing countries that protect equality and rewarding those that align with far-right ideology. The State Department’s deputy spokesperson even had the gall to claim “destructive ideologies” have taken root around the globe. The truth? The only destructive ideology here is the one that says basic equality is evil and discrimination is freedom. This is the Trump doctrine in a nutshell: Oppression is liberty. Equality is tyranny. Human rights are whatever Donald Trump says they are. And now he wants to impose that worldview on the entire world. This isn’t foreign policy. This is fanaticism wrapped in a flag — and America, along with the global community, will be living with the fallout for decades if this nightmare continues. Please like and share to spread the news!

Imagine a close friend says to you: "When you constantly cancel our plans at the last minute, it makes me feel like you don't value our friendship, and it really hurts my feelings. It's starting to make me feel lonely and sad." Is that emotional blackmail? No. 1. Stating an observable action (you canceling). 2. Explaining the impact on their feelings (it hurts them). 3. Describing the potential consequence (it's damaging the friendship and their mental state). This is healthy communication. Trans people do the same thing: "When you use the wrong pronouns for me, it invalidates my identity, which is painful and contributes to my depression." It's basic decency.

BREAKING: ICE just tried to deport this woman, but there was just one problem — she was Native American. You read that right: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) — the agency supposedly tasked with deporting undocumented immigrants — just tried to deport an Indigenous woman whose ancestors have been here for thousands of years. Leticia Jacobo, a 24-year-old member of Arizona’s Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, was born in Phoenix — but that didn’t stop ICE from trying to ship her “back” to a country she doesn’t even belong to. Here’s how this jaw-dropping injustice unfolded: Jacobo was sitting in a Polk County, Iowa jail after being booked for allegedly driving with a suspended license — nothing violent, nothing serious. Her mother, Ericka Burns, was preparing to pick her up and bring her home when jail staff dropped a bombshell: “She’s not being released. ICE is coming to deport her.” Her mom was stunned. “How can you deport her?” she asked. “She’s Native American!” But the jail staff shrugged it off. They said they were “just holding her” for ICE. No one — not a single person — could explain how or why this was happening. Jacobo’s family went into overdrive — calling, emailing, begging officials to stop what was about to become one of the most shameful bureaucratic blunders in modern history. They reached out to tribal leaders, shared pleas on Facebook, and even showed up at the jail with her birth certificate to prove she’s an American citizen. And still, officials hesitated. Hours ticked by while ICE prepared to take her. Finally, after an agonizing all-night standoff, she was released around 4:30 a.m. — barely. And what’s ICE’s excuse? A “clerical error.” Lt. Mark Chance from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office casually dismissed it as “human error.” Just a little mix-up, they said. The detainer was meant for someone else, and they just happened to attach it to the file of a Native American woman born on U.S. soil. “We’ll have some meetings about it,” Chance said. “This is silly.” Silly? This wasn’t “silly.” This was an attempted deportation of a woman whose people are the original inhabitants of this land, by a government agency that has no idea whose land it’s even on. Let that sink in: the United States government almost deported an Indigenous woman from her own country. This is what happens when an agency like ICE is given unchecked power — where “clerical errors” can destroy lives, and where systemic racism and dehumanization are written into the paperwork. If her family hadn’t fought like hell, Leticia Jacobo could have been vanished into ICE custody — another name lost in a broken, brutal system. It’s time to abolish this corrupt and incompetent agency that can’t even tell the difference between an immigrant and an Indigenous citizen. Because if ICE can come for Native Americans, they can come for anyone. Please like and share if you’re as outraged by this as we are!

California, this November 4th, the whole country is counting on you. Prop 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide. So return your ballot today. Vote yes on 50.

I – like Trump and RFK Jr. – do not have a medical degree. So, when questions surrounding medical treatments emerge, I listen to people who do. I get my information from doctors and public health experts – and urge you to do the same.
