@HallBallJerry Was not impressed by Texas or NC State; watched Big East games and not impressed by Seton either…..
English

@BryanDFischer @manda_mag And the Big name P5 would still get good seeds with 500 records

@tsnmike Agreed, but committee always brings it up for P5 when they get in with mediocre record
English

@monnieflyer You don't get do-overs for injuries, even at the P5 level.
See Notre Dame, 2018.
English

No, the committee should stop factoring injuries into selection or seeding.
Kevin Sweeney@CBB_Central
For all the talk that Miami “didn’t belong”, more questions should be raised about SMU and its handling of the BJ Edwards injury news. His supposed availability was a big factor in their selection. Should committee be more skeptical going forward? si.com/college-basket…

@MattNorlander Mid-Major coaches are big mad at the system, and they’re letting the world know.

Don’t really understand this play with 4.3 seconds left…..passing the ball backwards with that little time is silly

BUZZER SOUNDS. TCU GETS THE FIRST WIN OF #MarchMadness 🙌 @TCUBasketball

@Sledd255218 @adamg1224 @CurryHicksSage Mid majors have also got hot and made elite 8 and even final 4
English

@adamg1224 @CurryHicksSage Everyone except all the fans of the p5 schools that are mediocre because any one them can get hot and go on a run.
English

@Newmdawg @adamg1224 A lot of P4 mid conference teams get bounced hard also.
English

@adamg1224 And all of those little guys get bounced hard by P5 teams. Upsets are cute on Thursday & Friday, but the real meat of the Tournament is when the BEST OF THE BEST go up against each other. Really good Top 10/Top 20 teams with great coaches and next level talent.
English

@adamg1224 Exactly 👍was at Texas vs NC State it had good ending but sorta boring before that and was thinking Dayton could beat both. Should have be at least top 1/3 of conference to even be considered for at large.
English

@courtneydeutsch @DanWolken Just like Dayton is the birthplace of aviation
English

@DanWolken “Claimed it” is right. Trust me, it didn’t just randomly happen. A collective group of Daytonians actively decided to fully embrace the concept of the First Four - and then worked really hard for many years to make the event what it is today. It’s a true city-wide success story.
English

I am not a First Four defender, but it’s kind of cool in the best, most college sports way possible that a random mid-sized city claimed this event and is now synonymous with it.
Adam Rittenberg@ESPNRittenberg
I’m the biggest First Four defender out there, as the atmosphere is always strong in Dayton, but with Miami (Ohio) here, it’s a different level. 📣
English

@CBBheadquarters Pundits still expect them to lose big to Tennessee 🤔

I still dream about this commercial
