@HallBallJerry Was not impressed by Texas or NC State; watched Big East games and not impressed by Seton either…..
English

@NJLitLawR I highly doubt he would’ve made any difference but either way happy for the kid
English

@HallBallJerry Can the question be: if we kept him, would we be in the tournament.
English

@SteveInFoxboro @CoachTimWelch SMU should be disbarred from ever being allowed to play in the ncaa tournament again after the Edwards thing. Was the only reason they were in the field
English

@HallBallJerry @CoachTimWelch The bubble was trash this year. There were more at-large spots than worthy teams. SMU was bad down the stretch and may be guilty of some dishonesty as it relates to BJ Edwards’ injury to squeeze into the First Four
English

@HallBallJerry BE was 5-4 against the ACC this year. Only 1 of those wins came from our big 3 of UConn, STJ, and Nova. 3 of our “bad” teams beat their NCAA teams with Butler beating Virginia, G’Town beating Clemson, and SHU beating NC State.
English

@CoachTimWelch This version of SMU is legitimately the worst at large team I’ve ever seen
English

@RobDauster You can’t not know who Markus Walters is and be expected to be taken seriously. The man is a legend
English

Same guy when the shooters in question want too much money

Sha and his staff will now focus on retaining their current players, including Budd Clark, Tajuan Simpkins and Najai Hines while adding from the portal “My priority is going to be shooting the basketball,” Holloway said. “Get some shooters." @SetonHallMBB
English

@theportalpirate Might be time to do away with the double round robin
English

@nottherealsha10 @SetonHallFan IMO the practice time and live reps are more valuable than a few hundred thousand but if they guys don’t want to play I have no problem with Sha getting a 3 week head start to re-recruit is roster
English

For the life of me I can’t figure out why anybody would have a problem with this

Seton Hall Athletics Statement on 2025-26 @SetonHallMBB Postseason
English

@nottherealsha10 @SetonHallFan Sure but it’s not at all a big deal
English

@HallBallJerry @SetonHallFan Well the Crown is an 8 team tournament with a $500k NIL prize. That could fetch you a nice shooting guard.
So that’s one reason, at least.
English

@PatrickDillon71 @SetonHallFan I actually thought it made sense this time around for them to keep playing but the decision doesn’t upset me to the point I need to rag on them or say I’m cancelling my tickets lol
English

@HallBallJerry @SetonHallFan In the past it would afford you 2 more weeks of practice and development for underclassman…now if you have 3 guys returning it would be a lot. There’s no down side to going, but there’s no upside other than exposure either.
English

@VictorFaculty32 @SetonHallFan They won 7 games after playing in the NIT. Failing to see how that was good for the program
English

@HallBallJerry @SetonHallFan Any time you get a chance to be on national TV is good for the program and university.
English

@madeformarch I’m glad somebody said this because it really needed to be said
English

I love the Big East. Grew up on it. One of my alma maters is in it.
This is an AWFUL take. There was no Big East bias here.
Hall’s resume wasn’t good enough. SJU whiffed on its non-con & suffered from a down league.
League simply needs to get better and win more OOC games.
Adam Zagoria@AdamZagoria
The anti-Big East bias here is pretty awful --NCAA says St. John's tourney title mattered less than Purdue's --UConn & St. John's in the same region. St. John's gets shipped to San Diego, then would have to come back to DC --Seton Hall left out and opts to shut it down
