"Chemtrails" are not real. They are misidentified contrails. Geoengineering is a real but largely theoretical field that investigates how we might deliberately change the climate to mitigate the effects of the CO2 increase. The "spraying things from planes" theoretical methods are not being done, and would not leave trails. Weather modification is cloud seeding, which has been done openly since the 1950s to slightly increase local rainfall from existing clouds. It's done with small planes, and does not leave trails. It does not change the climate. Our Future Surgeon General Casey Means Doesn’t Understand Scientific Research I am sure there is no way this won’t get politicized so I am going to start out by stating my politics. I come from a conservative family. I am a registered independent but I lean strongly to socially liberal and fiscally conservative and I tend to vote that way. So before anyone accuses me of being a ‘liberal soyboy’ or something of the like, you need to check yourself. Just because I have certain political leaning does NOT mean I turn my brain off & don’t form my own opinions. When it comes to the presidential nomination for Surgeon General, Casey Means, I am NOT impressed AT ALL.  In this clip she sh**s on seed oils becuase of how they are made, calling them disgusting Frankly, I don’t give a sh*t how something is made. I promise you if I walked you through the process of water purification, I could scare you with that It is horrifying to me that the Surgeon General nomination doesn’t understand basic solvent extraction chemistry. I assume she had to take organic chemistry as a pre-med, perhaps she forgot it all, I’m not sure what the reason is, but it blows my mind that she hasn’t bothered to actually read the research Seed oils/plant oils like canola oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, and olive oil have repeatedly been demonstrated to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, and mortality compared to saturated fat sources like butter (PMID: 40048719). They also reduce inflammation & improve metabolic health/insulin sensitivity compared to saturated fat sources (PMIDs: 31369090 & 22492369) Here’s hoping that Casey will bother to read some of the research before she starts making public health decisions
