Couldn’t keep us kids in when we were young and many generations before,sad now. You very rarely see kids playing out today. Mrs Smith a teacher, she kept a record of the various games played by children in the playgrounds,school and streets of Tyneside from Backworth to Newburn.

I came home from London and Rebecca had adopted a German shepherd called Ford. He’s massive and a gorgeous beast. I’m not sure what he’s been through but he’s very disconnected and shy. But we’ll bring him out of his shell and he’ll be annoying us in no time. I mean, he’s a bisping now.😂
