There's middle ground in this dichotomy, of course. There's various uses for all sorts of gear. And urban guys can have a rural mindset. But preparedness isn't a COD fantasy. The rural preparedness mindset is all about utility and being a legitimate asset to your friends & family

@bazashc Have you ever read it??? It’s 100% not a children’s book and whoever says that is lying to you. Not only is the vernacular dated and elaborate but the sentence structure and lengthy writing is often hard to get your head around as an adult. Love that book! but it’s not for kids

So it turns out that modern anime actually can look absolutely fantastic. Almost as good as cel animation! It isn't a problem with digital tools, it has to be a deliberate choice to make most of it look super generic and ugly.
