First full stack of V3 while V2 is still actively flying missions. SpaceX builds the next generation before the current one is even finished proving itself. The "TO MARS" text visible on the launch tower in the background is doing all the talking. Everything else is just engineering catching up to the sign.

We're rolling out a change in Experimental so file sizes in the File Explorer Details view now display using appropriate units (KB, MB, GB) instead of KB-only, to make them easier to understand at a glance Do you like it? 😊 learn.microsoft.com/windows-inside…

@Pirat_Nation The stock cable that comes with the new ROG Thor PSU actually performs better. If you're on a ROG system, stick with it: it keeps all pins at around 8mA instead of climbing above 9.3mA, which is what's causing the issue.

ASUS sells a special power cable called the ROG Equalizer for €50 and say it stops the power plug from melting on strong graphics cards like the RTX 4090 and 5090. ASUS claims it shares power evenly between the pins, uses better gold contacts, and stays cool even at high power. But hardware expert der8auer opened it up and tested it, he found it is not smart at all. It just has a simple metal bridge inside to link the wires, no electronics to balance power. In his tests, this bridge made the power even more uneven between the pins, One pin carried much more current than others. Taking the bridge out actually made it better. The cable is also stiffer, which can bend and stress the plug in small PC cases. The gold contacts picked up tin from the graphics card side, which could cause problems later. der8auer says the cable gives only a small safety boost and does not fix the melting problem as advertised. He thinks it is not worth the high price compared to normal good cables.

@levelsio I built a window opener that I control with an esp32 co2 sensor. I open and close the window multiple times each night. You could add a: do not open after 6am rule.

I still haven't solved the CO2 bedroom challenge You open the window and you wake up from a 6am garbage truck or barking dogs and sunlight You close it, you suffocate in 1200 ppl at 5am I guess you really need some mini tube in your wall with a vent that opens and closed based on internal CO2 but how do I build that?

The Tachyon Pulse Podcast reports that Paramount is attempting to sell Starfleet Academy Season 2 to Netflix. This wouldn't be the first time as Paramount sold Netflix distribution rights for Discovery seasons 1-2 internationally, as well as sold Star Trek: Prodigy season 2 to them. Should Netflix buy this program and air it?

Has no one in Hollywood ever explored a movie about the Voyager spacecraft, where an alien civilization discovers the Golden Record, deciphers its messages, and follows it back to Earth to make contact with humanity? That would be absolutely incredible to watch.

I don’t agree to your extremely positive assessment of their answer. In their closing the reference the Austrian regulation AutomatFahrV, which currently prohibits FSD (Supervised) in Austria. They clearly state that AtomatFahrV will *not* be automatically amended if FSD (Supervised) gets EU-wide approval, but will be separately evaluated. This is quite disappointing.

🚨 Good news from Austria. 🇦🇹 The Austrian Ministry (BMK – Bundesministerium für Innovation, Mobilität und Infrastruktur) has replied to a Tesla owner regarding Tesla FSD Supervised. Key takeaways from their official letter (April 2026): ✅ They fully recognize the Dutch RDW approval under Article 39 of EU Regulation 2018/858. ✅ They clearly explain the upcoming EU procedure (TCMV vote expected in May/June). ✅ They explicitly keep the door open for a quick national recognition of the Dutch approval, without having to wait for full EU-wide approval. ✅ No objections or safety concerns raised. The tone is professional, constructive and positive. This is one of the most open and helpful responses we’ve seen from any EU country so far. Austria could be among the early adopters via national recognition. 🇦🇹🔥🧿 #Tesla #FSD #Austria #AutonomousDriving

i’m sorry @FrameworkPuter but raising the price of your desktop (128gb ram) from $1,999 to $2,999 isn’t just covering the cost increase of the ram, that’s profiting off of the trend of ai slop and open claw and mac studios. you just lost a customer

Star Trek head Alex Kurtzman on the franchise's TV future, with no new shows greenlit and no shows in production: "I've had conversations with them about the future of Star Trek. Yes, we've gotten nothing but support. Yes, there have been specific shows that have been discussed... I'm truly at the beginning of the conversation with them now. And so I hesitate to say anything to you, because I don't have anything to report yet. But I can report that the conversations are happening." His contract expires soon. Every NuTrek show he launched is cancelled or ending. The sets are torn down. Is "conversations are happening" enough to keep faith in Star Trek's TV future?
