@owenbroadcast Love this. You’ve put words to something I’ve been feeling a lot too as a dad of 2. I’ve often reflected on the “why?” too and I think age and emotional maturity (of the parents) has a lot to do with it. Mine were 19/20 at their bun-already- in-the-oven wedding.

@moredeploys @DeepLcom If it's not sensitive and overly long, I had reasonably good results with chatgpt. Won't replace a professional translation, but it's a start.

I find @DeepLcom very frustrating for translating JP to EN. Ultimately it’s imprecise (and often littered with mistakes and repeated sections) which may be fine for translating something low-stakes but for legal contracts or technical documents it’s unnerving.
