@Allthings__THFC Because £50m+ in our bank is better than a highly paid captain sitting on the bench.
English

@JamesTMaw Probably doesn't help being played as a right winger.
English

@WeRTottenhamTV There's so many of these recently and the old team always cleans up. The drop off is mad.
English

@TanguyNdembele Probably because seeing a right back.....defending....has been a touch rare recently.
English

I don’t understand the hype, he wasn’t exceptional the other night he was just solid and did his job nothing out of the ordinary ?

Jun'ai Byfield vs Dortmund RB cameo 17 year old debut

@LilywhiteLab Solanke making things stick is the big point here. Whilst Richie is 'ok' at finishing in the box, Solanke makes everything tick because defenders aren't pumping the ball forward only to see if come back straight away.
English

I think from first watch we set up pretty typically today in terms of style
Main difference for me was:
- Aggression and intensity
- Two decent ball players in midfield
- Dortmund giving up bags of space in the wide areas
- Game state after going up a goal early
- Solanke making things stick
English

@Billie_T He had plenty of support. The atmosphere at kick off was good. When we attacked in the second half we were behind them. When Vic took 30 seconds to work out which sideways pass to make whilst chasing a winner was when our heads collectively fell off.
English

@mitch_fretton What's AVB up to these days? Anyone got his number?
English

@HarryScarfe22 Get it. But it's clear his head has gone. He's been fried by the last 12 months rollercoaster. He needs time out the team.
English

@LilywhiteLab As positive as I've tried to remain this season, I've arrived at the same conclusion. I can't keep going up and missing time with the kids, putting pressure on the wife and having to ENDURE this stuff.
English

@simonyemane As you might have spotted, I've remained positive throughout. But yesterday was the moment for me. Not because I think he's a bad coach (he might be). But because of the atmosphere. He hasn't got the personality to ride this out. The substitute teacher who has lost the classroom.
English

@blthfc Don't think that's completely fair. Don't think he's signed if Bentancur is fit. They moved quickly when it was clear that he's out for a chunk of the season and I expect he'll be moved on in the summer.
English

@LilywhiteLab To be fair, a couple of strong tackles in the build-up to Villa's first goal wouldn't have been a bad thing.
English

Can’t wait to see this in practice!
Strong tackles 💪
That’ll take us back to the promised land
Totnumb@THFC_Numb
@LilywhiteLab Our midfielders are lazy.. This is EXACTLY what we need. Palinha - Gallagher.. Physical and strong pivot
English

@LilywhiteLab I think the point here is that signings like this are judged against who it pushes out. I see Gallagher as an upgrade (both in ability and age) on Bentancur. Him and Biss leaving in the summer (at least on the latter) should be a priority for squad management.
English

This isn’t about Gallagher, as I spoke about in my video earlier I actually think he’s a good player
It’s the fact that the club are clogging up the squad with profiles we don’t need
And neglecting everything else we do need to improve our team
Could Gallagher be slightly better than what we have? Maybe?
But what does that mean for the next windows, we’ve just signed Bentancur to a new contract, we have Sarr, Bergvall and Gray, Bissouma still hasn’t been shifted
We now need to shift at least 2 maybe 3 of these and that’s before we can even solve the ACTUAL issue with our midfield
Signings like these just set us back years and then everyone complains when we can’t shift our dead wood
English

@TalkTHFC__ This has been so rare this season. Four attackers running together at a defence. This has to be the priority. We have to find ways of making this happen more often.

English

I really believe that under an attacking manager, our attack would flourish.
They are being really held back by the pragmatism shown by Frank.
Alex 𝓕𝓪𝓷@xAlexTHFC
What a finish this was btw Odobert with confidence is a fantastic player Really hope he can kick on and find that consistency
English

He bought half their team to be fair Watkins, Martinez, Cash, Buendia, Digne, Kamara
The Spurs Express@TheSpursExpress
Since Johan Lange left Aston Villa for #Tottenham, all they have done is improve and all we’ve done is go backwards. We did them a massive favour.
English

@simonyemane Isn't it more accurate to say that you can see when the changes happened? I don't think the substitutions worked. That isn't the same as saying that Tel shouldn't have been replaced. He was starting to fade IMHO.
English

@Billie_T That's incredible logic. So you genuinely reckon the players ignored all instructions and just did what they wanted? Could it, possibly, be the other way round?
English

@thfcandrej He needs a spell on the bench. Seems to be right off it at the moment.
