I am very excited to announce the launch of a new open source Bitcoin client called Bitcoin $DOG Mode.
Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Knots have spent years enforcing rules that Bitcoin itself does not have.
A transaction can be fully valid under consensus and still be blocked from normal relay because it is “non-standard”. This has resulted in the creation of a private “black market” for Bitcoin transactions where insiders with connections to miners get do things that ordinary Bitcoin users cannot.
The $DOG Army has already gotten around this system twice.
First we went directly to miners to execute the largest transaction in Bitcoin’s history because Bitcoin Core would not relay it. Then we did it again for the largest airdrop in Bitcoin’s history because of Core’s arbitrary 83-byte OP_RETURN limit.
Around the same time, the Runes Protocol had grown so popular that memecoin activity accounted for the majority of transactions on the Bitcoin network. Many of these transactions also went directly to miners to bypass Core’s minimum relay fee.
Core realized it had been outmaneuvered and in response they released Core v30 which removed the OP_RETURN limit and lowered the default minimum relay fee to 0.1 sat/vB.
This revealed a clear pattern. The $DOG Army could route our “non-standard” transactions around Core, miners would accept them, and then Core was eventually forced to give in.
The $DOG Army is done asking for permission. It is time to remove even more of these frivolous restrictions.
That is why we are starting an open source initiative to develop our own Bitcoin client called $DOG Mode.
When using Bitcoin in $DOG Mode:
1. The maximum standard transaction size will be increased from 400,000 WU to 3,900,000 WU. This will give everyone equal access to do “four meggers” while leaving a generous 100,000 WU of space for the coinbase transaction and block overhead.
2. The global dust limit will be lowered from 294-546 sats (depending on output type) to 1 sat. Ordinals inscriptions and Runes UTXOs are currently forced to carry hundreds of unnecessary sats to appease Bitcoin Core. This will remove the need for “padding” and effectively airdrop ~$25M in locked up sats back to the Ordinals and Runes ecosystem.
Unlike Bitcoin Knots, which deviates significantly from Bitcoin Core and introduces substantial risk to node runners, Bitcoin $DOG Mode aims to only change the absolute minimum code necessary to remove these two restrictions.
And unlike BIP-110, which attempts to change Bitcoin consensus through a network fork, $DOG Mode operates entirely within Bitcoin’s existing consensus rules and does not require a fork.
This ensures that $DOG Mode can be successful from day one.
Over time the economic incentives will drive $DOG Mode’s adoption and force Bitcoin Core to stop gatekeeping and allow these completely valid transactions. The result will be a more open, fair, and transparent Bitcoin network.
If you are a Bitcoin developer who is interested in contributing to the initial $DOG Mode release, please reach out to me.
If you are a Bitcoin miner who is interested in increasing your revenue by adding support for $DOG Mode transactions, please reach out to me.
If you are a normal Bitcoin user who wants to support $DOG Mode quote post this with: “I will run Bitcoin in $DOG Mode”

$MSTR showed what’s possible with a digital asset treasury.
$CBLO is pursuing its own strategy by building a treasury focused on $DOG, a Bitcoin-native digital asset, providing investors with public market exposure through a reporting company.
We believe we’re at the beginning of a new chapter for Bitcoin-native assets. As always, do your own research.

I was working on the promised turbo flag feature, and landed on P2P rune gambling. But it's impractical to restrict it to turbo-flag runes only.
Should I turn it on for all runes?

Most people think @HyperliquidX is just another crypto perps exchange.
And for sure, Bitcoin is still its undisputed #1 most traded asset.
But some of it's highest volume markets right now include the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Micron Technology and SK Hynix.
Trade all the markets. Onchain. 24/7.
Coming to Xverse, soon.

My thoughts on BIP-110 and the "anti-Ordinals movement" that will attempt to fork the Bitcoin network in August 🧵
The greatest threat to Bitcoin is neither Ordinals nor Runes
It is the pervasive and dangerous ideology that took hold after the Blocksize Wars that using Bitcoin L1 is bad
Starting in 2017 a bunch of lunatics in the "Lightning ecosystem" hijacked Bitcoin and psyoped everyone into believing that making transactions on Bitcoin L1 was somehow immoral and harming children in El Salvador
Fast forward nearly a decade and here are some of the downstream effects of telling everyone to stop using Bitcoin L1
A catastrophic amount of time and resources were wasted building a now obsolete and failed "Lightning Network"
Bitcoin has now been infiltrated by feds and bankers who have normalized not only paper Bitcoin but Ponzi scheme treasury company versions of paper Bitcoin
When you joined Bitcoin a decade ago you were taught how to self-custody
When you join Bitcoin today many of the top "leaders" tell you to buy pump and dump Bitcoin proxy scams trading anywhere from 2x to 100x NAV
The vast majority of "Bitcoin maxis" have never even used Bitcoin L1 and are technically illiterate having no idea what a UTXO is
The biggest joke of all is that discouraging people from using Bitcoin L1 created the low-fee environment which allowed the data storage use case to take root
It is laughable that BIP-110 claims "data storage competes unfairly with payments"
You can transfer billions of dollars of value on Bitcoin L1 in roughly 200 bytes yet Bitcoin maxis failed so badly at creating demand for block space that it became economically viable for artists to store 4 megabyte JPEGs while competing fairly in the exact same fee market
BIP-110 is by far the least cypherpunk proposal by the least cypherpunk group of people in the history of Bitcoin
They have completely lost the plot
Instead of coming to terms with the consequences of their own decisions they are attempting to introduce radical levels of censorship to a network whose entire value proposition is censorship resistance
There are no words to describe how fragile someone's ego must be to blame artists for using a low-fee environment created by your own reckless decisions
It is not a coincidence that 67.9% of all Bitcoin transactions this week were Ordinals and Runes
While the Bitcoin maxi movement is completely going off the rails
We are the ones who actually use the Bitcoin network
We are the ones who secure the Bitcoin network by paying fees
We are the ones who understand the Bitcoin network at the deepest technical level
We are the ones who denominate in Bitcoin and actually use Bitcoin as money every single day
We are the ones who self-custody our Bitcoin and carry on the ethos of "not your keys not your coins"
We are the real Bitcoin maxis now
There is nothing more cypherpunk than running your own node and ripping some JPEGs onto a censorship-resistant network regardless of how unpopular it is
Satoshi's first act on Bitcoin was to inscribe data
We are simply carrying on the torch
Because the prior Bitcoin maxis have failed so miserably the Ordinals and Runes enjoyers have become the new Bitcoin maxis
We will make self-custody cool again
We will make experimenting on Bitcoin fun again
We will get people to use Bitcoin as a medium of exchange again
We will educate people and make Bitcoiners technically literate again
We will secure Bitcoin by creating a robust fee market and high demand for blockspace again
We will purge Bitcoin of the feds and bankers who have infected it like a disease and that starts with defeating the BIP-110 fork in August
I am calling on all $DOG soldiers, all Ordinals enjoyers, and all Runes degens to band together and fight against this BIP-110 cancer that is hell-bent on destroying the Bitcoin that we know and love
If you are against BIP-110 and agree that Bitcoin should remain censorship resistant show your support by quote posting this with "Defend permissionless blockspace. Reject BIP-110." and be sure to repost all quote posts
Long live Bitcoin
Long live Ordinals and Runes

@30Npres They are trying every trick in the book to shake out weak hands from the market. Why do they want people to sell Dog while trying to get them to buy other tokens? Just think about it. $Dog go to the moon🐕🐕🐕🚀🚀🚀

English

@dotkrueger @LeonidasNFT @Cryptolution Because of people like you who refuse to acknowledge that BTC has an ecosystem, people lose thousands of dollars on worthless networks, while these pieces of junk are marketed to them as something that will change the world. $Dog #Runes #Ordinals

🚨UPDATE: CLAUDE traced every solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u token that went to the Brand New #1 Wallet (created June 25, 2026).
12.367 BILLION tokens. 23 transactions. 1,100 individual inputs decoded on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Here's what we found:
The new #1 solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u wallet appeared overnight on June 25/26 with 12.367B tokens - 12.37% of the entire supply - and nobody in the community knew where it came from.
We've spent 75 days tracking the #Binance cluster: a confirmed network of 158+ wallets operating across 4 layers of infrastructure that we believe #Binance controls. They've been quietly accumulating solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u over the past two years.
So we decoded every transaction that funded the new #1 wallet.
Here's the breakdown:
🔴 MM2 (Rank #5, Layer 2) - 47 inputs - 5.6B solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u. #Binance's primary distribution node. Its entire 2.045B balance is now gone.
🟡 158 suspicious cluster wallets - 284 inputs - 3.4B solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u. Dozens of wallets sweeping simultaneously in a 22-hour window.
🔵 Layer 3 whales (Wh7, Wh6, Wh23, Wh31) - 29 inputs - 1.8B solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u. The network's largest accumulators, all moving at once.
🟣 MM1 + INT2 (Layer 1 intermediary) - 15 inputs - 0.9B solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u. The full 4-layer #Binance infrastructure chain is confirmed in the raw transaction data.
375 of 1,100 inputs are directly verified #Binance cluster wallets - confirmed on-chain, permanently recorded on Bitcoin. The remaining 725 are position-split addresses created in the Jun 3–25 gap that themselves received from the cluster.
But it gets bigger.
The same night the new #1 holder appeared, we found a SECOND consolidation wallet - Rank #4 - holding 2.532B solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u. Funded by Wh6. We know Wh6 was the sender because the BTC transaction change returned directly to Wh6's address. That is cryptographic proof.
Updated total under #Binance cluster control as of June 25/26:
12.367B + 2.532B = 14.899B solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u = 14.9% of total supply 👀
Previously we estimated 13.7%. Rank #4 was hiding in plain sight.
Now about Wh6 specifically. @DogDatabtc classified this wallet as Merlin Chain - a Bitcoin L2 protocol - and that was the accepted community explanation for its 2.009B position. But the on-chain data tells a different story. Wh6 had 2 direct transactions with MM2, 3 transactions with Wh7, participated in the coordinated Block 910,839 batch event, and swept its entire balance on June 25/26. It now holds essentially zero. Our hypothesis: #Binance deposited solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u into Merlin Chain's bridge contract, which custodied the tokens in this wallet on #Binance's behalf. The "Merlin Chain" label was masking a #Binance position and creating the appearance of ecosystem adoption.
And while all of this consolidation was happening - #Binance was simultaneously routing solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u into exchanges. MM1 sent 15 transactions to Gate.io. MM2 sent 7. INT1 and INT2 sent directly into Bitget. Left hand selling into exchange liquidity. Right hand building the largest solana:dog1viwbb2vWDpER5FrJ4YFG6gq6XuyFohUe9TXN65u position ever seen.
14.9% of total supply. One entity. Confirmed and Verified by CLAUDE.

One of my biggest fears is not holding enough $DOG. 😂
I don’t care how nuked the market is right now.
The only 2 assets I believe will remain significant over the next 100 years are Bitcoin and $DOG.
It’s not as fun talking about Bitcoin anymore when people are finally coming to their senses 10 years later.
That same pattern recognition is dead locked on $DOG because nothing else comes close.
The world never needed Ethereum or XRP. And if it did, we know 99.9% of the illusion around them was fabricated.
But we did deserve Bitcoin.
And for similar reasons, $DOG was born.

@rodarmor The size and noise of the crowd will be the best advertisement; the dog must definitely be there.
