AI agents shouldn't wait for humans to approve every action.
Authority should be programmable.
Policies can automatically define what an agent can do, how much it can spend, and when execution should stop.
That's how AI becomes production-ready.

Blockchain's future won't be decided by higher TPS alone. It will be defined by how well networks can understand trusted real-world events and act on them automatically.
That's the direction Rialo is taking. By combining Native Web Connectivity with reactive automation, smart contracts can respond to verified off-chain events without relying on manual intervention.

AI agents are getting more capable every day. They can browse the web, call APIs, execute transactions, and coordinate with other agents. But giving an agent unlimited permissions and an unlimited budget doesn't make it smarter. It just makes mistakes more expensive. That's why I find the AGP challenge from @RialoHQ interesting. Every agent runs under Latch, where actions are governed by policy, spending is capped, and every request is evaluated before execution. It's no longer just about building the most intelligent agent. It's about building one that knows when to act, how to spend resources, and when not to execute at all. My approach would be simple: use lightweight models for routine decisions, then escalate to stronger models only when the remaining budget and policy justify the extra cost. In the long run, the best AI agents won't be the ones with the biggest budgets. They'll be the ones with the best governance.
