@priceacarter Prayers. Kids are amazingly resilient. Special Olympics events are inspirational. Find activities like swimming & horse riding therapy (hippotherapy). Nothing helps a 8 year old kid who can't walk feel empowered like taking the reins of a 1200 pound horse 6 feet off the ground.

Today has been 1 of the hardest days of my life as my dad. Today Baylor went for appointments at Children’s Mercy and he finally has realized he will be different all his life. He has sobbed, asking why nobody is like him. Why it won’t go away.. There is no pain like this 💔
