My anti-Joshua Schmidt take: hand knowledge, even w/o any added effect, is one of the most broken mechanics in YGO. Maybe that wasn’t true 5yrs ago, but with every deck putting up a dozen interactions, knowing your opponent’s hand & how the deck functions is a win condition.

In his banlist discussion stream @Gamebreak0r says that Spiral Master Plan should stay banned because Spyral is a deck that autowins turn 1. But what does it actually set up even with Masterplan? To my knowledge it doesnt even have 1 card combos and most generic links are banned

the average player stopped trying to build. they just make one house they copy off youtube and then speedrun to the ender dragon and get bored of the game. modern minecraft encourages progression over creativity, and then doesnt provide meaningful progression

@Theeze0504 I post these things because the average user isn't clued in on the complexity of Linux. For example: What is sudo? pacman? Syu? Why do I have to update the updater? Why can't I just click a button? These are all things on Windows I don't have to do to update the OS.

Another day of gaming on Linux. Or at least trying. Trying to use CachyOS to get the "gaming packages" installed and it doesn't work. I guess I'll spend 15 minutes on fixing this in a terminal window.
