It never fails to amaze me what is possible when you uplift teachers’ voices & support them to learn, teach, and lead in new ways. Fortunate to be in community with these @m3t_wv Fellows & the many more educators who participate in this important network across West Virginia.

This week, M3T (Mountaineer Mathematics Master Teachers) held its 5th-annual Summer Institute and welcomed 41 Fellows (middle and high school math teachers) from 30 counties across the state for four days of sharing, learning, and leading in math education.

The problem? This takes a lot of able coaching in order to enact change.

I'm more and more convinced that school districts can't mandate their way to academic achievement. They can't compliance their way to achievement. Initiating real change begins in the classroom with that teacher, planning, co-teaching, turning left, turning right.
