We are recommending a pause in the use of vehicles out of an abundance of caution. Risk of dying from cars is 10,000x higher than any rare treatable blood clots from J&J. Sitting & driving long distances (like for vaccine) is a risk factor of blood clots in the normal population.

As of 4/13, 230m+ are US drivers. CDC and DOT are reviewing data involving 42,060 reported US cases of a common & severe type of death in individuals involved in traffic. Right now, these events appear to be extremely common with 1 in 106 chance of dying in traffic collisions.
