@pablobellver_ @figma I encounter many designers that... ... Don't bother w/ Autolayout ... Vastly overestimate their @figma Autolayout skills (+box model and CSS layout mechanics) ... Get lost quickly in "original" Autolayout Adapting to responsive design autolayout will be oh so much harder.

I spent time working responsive design in @figma. Prediction: While autolayout challenges designers (≥50% struggle among those I tested on composition), variables/modes, min/max width/height, etc will further separate skillset (fewer) have/(more) have nots.

@appariciojunior Making things simple is complicated.

@HonzaTmn @figma We are in the process of rolling out the figma library with tokenised styles and supporting adoption and at the same time starting to build/refactor components for the next phase.

We're approaching that inevitable time of year when we'll refactor all our @figma libraries⏳ Is it already on your design systems roadmap?

Really neat workaround Spotify are doing with their 'Swappy' Figma plugin. You can theme components as you import them in Figma by listening to the selection change event. I tried it out myself a while ago!
