This is the thesis statement for a lot of people. If the United States created an innovative drug that saved tens of millions of lives and provided it for free, that's irrelevant to whether it's good.
Attaching strings, by contrast, is pure evil.

Wachspress has now published an essay about her allegation. She says that she was a junior when she was Biss’ student, in roughly 2004 when he’d have been about 26. He waited until the course was over and asked her out. They “made out” a few times, she says, and then he broke it off, saying he shouldn’t date a student.

I'm sure many of y'all remember this video from 2024 where former Illinois sheriff's deputy Sean Grayson murdered Sonya Massey in her home after she called 911 and said "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus" with hot water in her hands. Well, today Mr. Grayson was sentenced to 20 years in prison for 2nd degree murder. IMO that's the right call as I said back in 2024 - she didn't reasonably present a deadly threat with that water at that distance. This father was doing all of his legal immigration check-ins and had no criminal record.
He’s one of those heroic parents who dedicated his life to taking care of his disabled son, whom he was told would not live past five without a miracle.

NEWS — A group of ~10 Senate Dems are lining up behind list of asks for changes at DHS, including:
- requiring warrants for arrests
- mandating that federal agents identify themselves
- DHS cooperate with state and local investigations into shootings like Good and Pretti
Chuck Schumer gathering input from caucus, held 1+ hour meeting with lawmakers last night
Key will be whether moderates back these types of demands in funding fight. Will be internal debate about it this week on the hill.

What is it about Minneapolis that the two tragic ICE shootings took place there within two or so weeks of each other? Could it really be a coincidence?
It is almost as if the governor of Minnesota called for protestors to intervene in ICE enforcements in an incendiary manner?
Inciting the people to rise up against law enforcement is guaranteed to end badly, and now we have seen the tragic consequences.
@GovTimWalz and those that emulate him, it is time to take the temperature down before more lives are lost.
