I haven't heard complaints of water from Rivian in a while either, though. Doesn't mean people aren't still affected, but i haven't heard

@CharlieBHarper @Mazzella21 What I am trying to point out is that in your original quote about what @AOC said, you said "Georgian here. No. Not it does not." as if to say "fake news" about the discolored water. You were denying the water being discolored, not the source of the discoloration.

What I am saying is clearing such a large plot of land for a data center, or car manuf plant like Rivian causes problems. Especially if the land is a ground water recharge area like where Rivian is.

@mr_ghostman @CharlieBHarper That's from Rivian (Electric cars), that the citizens here have been trying to stop. They halted building, not sure when they plan to start. We don't have a data center here, and haven't heard of anyone complaining about their water from one. Her story isn't making much sense.

@EWErickson This references the Rivian site, which is right by the Meta data center. That entire area is a known groundwater recharge area, and it is one of the many reasons residents fought back against the Rivian site.

@EWErickson Site is paywalled, but this is from the local Morgan County paper from 2024. Morgan county is rural, and the vast majority of residents rely on well water. Stop gaslighting and calling things fake which you have no knowledge of.

Hi Scott from Michigan. I live in Georgia. This jar of water is from a well on one family's property. It is not the drinking water in the community. It is also an old story from even before COVID that is being recirculated in 2026 to scare people.

@SeminoleMafia @RedRedWineDawg The ceusus? Seriously? You realize the census is done every 10 years, meaning the current data is based on 2020. A simple Google search on current data shows this: Middle- and Low-Income Earners: People in the bottom 40% of earners make up the bulk of departures.

Y'all missed the entire peak season, including Pilger 2.0 during mid May, and near daily dryline tornadoes through August. It is now September and we are thinking about a hurricane, lake effect snow, how active Dixie is going to be this winter, and pumpkin spice.

Radar Update 3:06am- rain and thunder still moving through. NO severe storms as of now, and the threat will diminish through the morning. Should be dry by 9/10am.
I am extremely surprised we didn't see any tornadoes overnight. All models were predicting significant directional sheer aka tornadoes.
Good news is we are picking up MUCH needed rain. Flooding will be still be possible through the morning commute.
