There is one guarantee in military life: uncertainty. Orders change. Missions shift. The world gets loud. And you’re still expected to stay strong when you have no idea what’s happening or what tomorrow holds. Here’s the truth most people miss about the military mindset: We don’t wait for certainty. We train through the chaos. When the future is unclear, control what you can: your discipline, your fitness, your mindset. Lean on your team, because no one survives the fight alone. Focus on the mission right in front of you, not the thousand things outside your control. At the end of the day, strength isn’t knowing what’s coming. It’s adapting to whatever does. So if the world feels uncertain right now… good. That’s exactly what warriors are built for. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. Godspeed.

I love doing spaces. The teams that come on are usually bullish, building, and you get the alpha straight from them. You can read tweets, sure, but it’s different when you hear someone speak, explain what they’re doing, answer questions live in front of 200 investors. Not that easy! Networking is key in this market. Some of the discussions around AI, agents and what people are building… man! Honestly blows my mind sometimes. It makes me excited and want to build and grind even harder. Spaces builds real credibility too. You’re actually meeting the people behind the project you’re invested in. That’s why I keep running them. If you’re serious about what’s happening on Base, you should be in our spaces.

Coinbase may ruin this for one item in what is otherwise a great law. You heard me say it before: there are much more important things pertinent to the ideals of cryptocurrency and blockchain than yield. I suggest he needs to give up the yield fight and revisit it in the future. There are way too many more important items in the bill to move forward.

Just give us our yield. #CLARITY
BSCN@BSCNews

🚨 POLITICS: COINBASE REJECTS LATEST SENATE STABLECOIN YIELD COMPROMISE @coinbase has told Senate offices it cannot support the newest CLARITY Act language on stablecoin yields, throwing another wrench into the crypto industry's top legislative priority. The exchange voiced concerns during a Monday meeting over the latest compromise text drafted by Senators Tillis and Alsobrooks, which bans passive stablecoin yield while allowing activity-based rewards. The new "economic equivalence" standard is broader than prior drafts. The resistance is reportedly less severe than CEO Brian Armstrong's January opposition that single-handedly derailed the bill's markup. Talks are continuing, but without Coinbase's backing the legislation faces a difficult path. Senator Moreno has warned the bill stalls indefinitely if it doesn't pass by May.

I’m missing the energy of @jessepollak in the trenches. It really made a difference. Talking, pushing, building alongside the community. Much respect, hope we see that comeback. Base needs that passion and vision to stand out. We also need a strong leader who pushes with us.

Your timeline right now is a direct reflection of what you interact with when you are here. See a post you like? Click like. You'll see more of that type of content. See something you don't like? Don't linger or share, or the algo with interpret that as interest. Move on! Are you missing content from a particular niche? Search it up and go hit like on a bunch of stuff. Watch your TL change over the next 48 hours. You can mute people, block people, unfollow, turn on notifications... so many options. You control the experience to a large degree, even if you don't see it. Curate and create the content you want to see.

Lawd, good thing someone is looking over this. Having your boss overrule your decisions (a few times) is not a good look.

Monetization’s downside: some people will say anything for a click and fake sensationalism. @nikitabier Sensationalism is not honest discourse. Community Notes barely matter. The community grew anyway: that's the end game.

@forgebitz Out of curiosity, I simulated the impact based on last payout: Your payout would’ve been +168% higher Our regional bucketing aims to be very large and includes all of Western Europe.

Mrs. Lightspeed wanted to check out the analytics and immediately honed in on the female followership ratio. I'm sleeping on the couch tonight, but I did remind her that it was exactly that gravitas that got her to marry me 22 year ago.

I was going to talk trash about the region preference announced by @nikitabier but, without trying, 86.9% of you are in my region anyway. Not really going to impact me much I guess.

@LLMJunky I suppose the cleanest way I can say it is that drifting scope is not a human failing anymore.

Interesting. As it turns out, AI might not be the best code reviewers after all. A new benchmark called c-CRAB tested Claude Code, Codex, Devin Review, and PR-Agent on 184 real pull requests. Heres what makes this benchmark different from previous ones. They took real human review comments from oss PRs and converted them into executable tests. Each test is designed to fail on the original code and pass only once the issue the human reviewer flagged has been properly fixed. So when an AI review tool is evaluated, its feedback gets handed to a coding agent that tries to fix the code based on that feedback. If the fix passes the test, the review actually caught the issue. If not, it didn't. Simple. The scores: > Claude Code: 32.1% > Devin: 24.8% > PR-Agent: 23.1% > Codex: 20.1% All four tools combined? Only 41.5% of human-identified issues get resolved. And the tools generate way more comments per PR than humans do (up to 7.3 per PR vs 1.3 from humans) while still catching fewer real issues. The breakdown by category is telling too. The tools do okay on robustness and functional correctness, the more localized, pattern-recognizable stuff. But they fall apart on design, documentation, and maintainability. The stuff that requires actually knowing the codebase and its conventions. I'm conflicted. Code review agents absolutely catch bugs and regressions that some humans are unlikely to catch. Additionally, the test doesn't really line up with my experience. I have found Codex to be among, if not the best, review agent. The writers did not clarify which models they used for the code review, but they did indicate they used GPT 5.2 and Sonnet 4.6 to do test writing and validation. I wish they would have clarified some of these details. Regardless of the model though, if we are to put weight into this one study, it seems we've still got a ways to go to reach human baseline. And honestly, that's a good thing. It means you're still more valuable than you realize. I'm interested to hear from the more experienced engineers, is this in line with what you're seeing from your code reviews?
