@howdymerry I do! And I frequently host such days at my classroom space in Chelsea (usually used for our @DeepAtlasAI cohorts)! DM if you'd like to discuss a crossover event—@mmeigooni tells me you're cool, and I trust his judgement immensely ✨

This curious bunch of engineers just graduated from @DeepAtlasAI and are now heading back into industry with hard-fought machine learning skills. Consider them differentiated, enlightened, and most importantly, dangerous with cutting-edge tools and techniques.
If you're an engineer interested in picking up machine learning alongside a group of experienced and motivated peers, check out deepatlas.ai.

@dsa @amasad Hello again, @JonathanHillis! As Russ said, some ed tech veterans and I started another coding school—this time to teach experienced SWEs the skills they need to work in ML. Check out @DeepAtlasAI! deepatlas.ai

This is a good idea, and depending on the team, I might be able to provide some funding!

Has anyone started an AI native coding bootcamp or online course? Who is turning the millions of code-adjacent PMs, designers, ops people, etc into independent programmers?

Today we’re announcing LiveKit’s $22.5M Series A to build the transport layer for AI.
This wasn’t an easy fundraise. Late last year, we pitched investors that realtime voice and video would become THE way we interact with computers. A few didn’t agree; most said it was at least 5 years away.
The GPT4o demo changed everything. It’s now obvious that as computers become smarter, the way we interact with them becomes more natural and humanlike. We use our eyes and ears to communicate. Computers use cameras and microphones.
If an AI model is the “brain”, LiveKit is building the nervous system — the network carrying signals to and from the brain.
Honored to have amazing investors like @jaminball, @patrickachase, @JeffDean, @eladgil, @AravSrinivas, @rauchg, @amasad, @OfficialLoganK, @bernhardsson, @mckaywrigley, @matiii, @demi_guo_, @_arohan_, @mattshumer_, @pirroh, and more on this journey with us.
If you’re excited about working on the future of how we use computers, DM me!

@helioscomm To be performant in all relevant scenarios at Twitter scale, a single feature often uses various data store services with different availability and performance profiles. Cached totals drifting out of sync as replies get deleted would be a classic bugaboo of the paradigm.
English

@mracus as a former Twitter dev and a fan of distributed systems, do you have any observations on the fact that reply counts on Twitter often don't match the replies I can actually see? It isn't private tweets or blocking; wonder if Twitter uses an eventually consistent DB.
