Vulnerability is a sign of strength Ari. Appreciate you sharing. One of the best ways to deal with ADHD is by rebalancing the cerebellum, ironically by practicing exercises that improve balance. I learnt this from this study a few years ago - Open assessment of the therapeutic and rate-dependent effects of brain balance center® and interactive metronome® exercises on children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder - PubMed

Sharing my mental and physical health journey and learnings on neurodivergence. My guess is this applies to many of you. 15 months ago I exited BlockTower and was beyond burnt out. I was anxious, depressed, and felt like I had the body and mind of a 70 year old. I spent the next year on the “basics.” Sleep, exercise, nutrition, minimizing screen time, connecting with close friends and family. That helped a lot, but I still struggled with a couple bad habits and felt far from being capable of tackling anything ambitious. The neurodivergence angle - a few years ago, I got assessed for autism and ADHD but definitively and clearly had neither (at least according to current tests, literature, and psychiatrists.) In the last month I connected with a couple new doctors including a brilliant neuroscientist that opened my eyes to various patterns. Almost all the literature and studies on these topics come from “average people.” High functioning people are largely absent from the literature because we don’t volunteer for medical studies and often “cope” so well that we go undiagnosed. I’m fairly certain now that I have some form of ADHD (and am somewhere lightly on the autism spectrum), very different from anything I’ve ever read about. My own pattern - hopping from rabbit hole to rabbit hole, a constantly working mind that’s only silenced by intense flow state like rock climbing, procrastination as my biggest (and almost sole) source of anxiety, and gravitating towards nicotine and THC with no desire for any other substances. Apparently this is an archetype for high functioning ADHD, and reflects a weak dorsolateral pre-frontal cortex that controls “executive function” in the brain. Buddhist style meditation and any type of arduous deep focus strengthens this part of the brain. Doom scrolling and staring at financial charts all day weakens it. I’m exploring a range of remediations - technological, nutritional, psychological, and already seeing benefits. Closer to the start of this journey than the end. Will share more soon with things that worked for me.

Hypothetical question for my followers who invest/trade in crypto, equities, futures, FX, whatever Assume you have a $1 million speculative account -- actual money You see a trade you like How much of that $1M are you willing to lose on that trade? I am talking about the max loss, not the size of your investment in the trade.

My average total testosterone is an ideal 704∓44 ng/dL. + I achieved this naturally + my LH and FSH levels are evidence I am not on TRT + data is from seven measurements over the past year I achieved this by: + prioritizing sleep and exercise + nutrition powered by Blueprint + avoiding endocrine disruptors (such as microplastics, leachables, and PFAS) + I do not use TRT or any form of HRT. My LH (8.7∓1.25 ng/dL) and FSH (7.4∓2.0 ng/dL), both measured three times in the last year, are consistently in the mid-high normal range with minimal fluctuations, further indicating natural hormone production. + My free testosterone, the active form crucial for sexual drive and anabolic function, consistently registers in the upper reference range (94∓6 pg/ml) based on three measurements over the past year. This is despite a slight elevation in SHBG (64.6, ∓2.7 nmol/L), measured seven times in the same period. + The slightly increased SHBG is due to my high exercise levels, partial calorie restriction, and somewhat elevated thyroid hormone levels due to medication. I am adjusting my regimen to bring my thyroid hormone levels back to the optimal mid-normal range.

I am 47 and have ideal levels of testosterone (735 ng/dL). I am not on TRT. My LH (9.7 IU/L) and FSH (7.4 mIU/ml) are also ideal. Evidence that I am not on TRT. These testosterone, LH and FSH measurements were taken 60 days ago, in Jan of 2025. My protocol: + I consume daily Blueprint proteins, supplements, longevity mix, collagen peptides, extra virgin olive oil, match, cocoa, creatine, blueberry nut mix and other Blueprint products.  + caloric restricted (2250) + plant based (excluding collagen peptides) + 130 grams of protein a day + and maintain top 1% muscle mass, cardiovascular ability, night time erections, and bone mineral density. It’s pretty cool to follow scientific evidence and measure yourself extensively. My LH (9.7 IU/L) and FSH (7.4 mIU/mL) levels confirm that I’m not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) because they’re ideal. Showing that my brain is actively signaling my testes to produce testosterone and sperm. If I were on TRT, the exogenous testosterone would suppress this signaling through negative feedback, and my LH and FSH would be extremely low or even undetectable. The fact that my levels are not suppressed, but instead ideal, strongly support that my testosterone is being produced naturally by my own body.

Be sure you're tracking these three biomarkers with your wearable. A check list is below ✅. Also, check in with your parents and children to see where their markers are at. 1) First REM cycle: How fast do you hit your first REM cycle? Goal is 90 min or less. (This is a marker for cognitive decline) 2) RHR: right before bed, what was your resting heart rate? Goal is 40s-60s. 3) Sleep Quality: how fast you fall asleep, REM, Deep and Awake. Goal is <10 min, ~2hrs, ~2 hrs, and less than 30 mins. Sleep is the most powerful performance drug in existence. Get your dose daily. Your sleep quality checklist: 1) First REM 2) RHR 3) Deep 4) REM 5) Awake Mine 1) First REM: 70 min ave 2) RHR: 40s 3) Deep: 2hr+ 4) REM: 2hr+ 5) Awake: 37 min Goals: 1) First REM: less than 90 mins in 2) RHR: less than 50 3) Deep: 2hrs 4) REM: 2hrs 5) Awake: less than 30 mins 6) HRV: average to you How did you perform?

I spent over $1,000 on lab testing to optimize my health. I wanted to dive deep into my metabolism to see what I could discover. So deep, you probably haven’t even heard of most of these metrics. Here’s everything I learned:

Why I consume extra virgin olive oil and macadamia nuts: they function as natural Ozempic. Mono-unsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) are abundant in extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), macadamia nuts, and avocados. High intake of mono-unsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) is associated with a 6% reduction in all cause mortality risk, compared to an 8% increase for high intake of saturated fats. Replacing saturated fats (5% of total calorie intake) with MUFAs was associated with a 15%, 10%, and 11% decrease in all-cause, heart disease, and cancer mortality risk. MUFAs including oleic acid in olive oil and palmitoleic acid in macadamia nuts, have plenty of observational and interventional clinical evidence supporting their roles in promoting longevity and preventing age-related diseases. A landmark interventional trial showed that regular consumption of MUFAs with a mediterranean diet lowered the risk of cardiovascular disease by 31% or 28%, for extra virgin olive oil (containing MUFAs as oleic acid) and  Nuts (Mix of MUFAs and PUFAs), respectively. Macadamia nuts and extra virgin olive oil are both longevity nutrients that mitigate the risk factors and lower the risk of multiple age related diseases, they also function as natural Ozempic to help maintaining optimal weight and metabolism.
