@KathyBurke Just seen this&has hit me hard. Steve gave me a chance in one of my first feature films, Schadenfreude, which he’s producing&hopefully finished soon. I’ve just got to Hollywood ready for my own film, Perennial, to have its premiere at @danceswithfilms and seeing this sucks 😢 😢

Heard the sad news last night that UK actor and old friend, Steve Sweeny has passed away. He was brilliant in many theatre and film productions incl Lock Stock & Nil By Mouth and was a favourite of genius director Alan Clarke. Once met, never forgotten. RIP mate. ♥️
