You’re almost correct, but you’re missing the part where many of us here are just as frustrated with our own government. We’ve got plenty of problems at home. It’s long past time to stop playing police of the Western Hemisphere and actually clean our own house. People wanted an America First policy, no more wars, lower inflation… and what are we getting? Not even a quarter of what we were promised. Try standing in our shoes for a moment, not in the shoes of the politicians who keep dragging us into every conflict on the planet.

If the US pulls out of NATO along with Trump saying he's not going to be helping the UK, even though he likes the UK, he's not going to help defend them militarily since your boy there is defending something. I don't care, I'm American and think it's time for the UK to defend itself from another country without the US's help. Look into the UKs future for a moment with that scenario. NATO: If Europe won’t allow us to use the bases we man and fund for their defense when we need them we ought to close them down and remove our troops from Europe. If they get attacked by Russia we can discuss whether or not we have the time to help.
