Of course, Rust doesn't solve all the AI mistakes. It only solves a subset. But that's better than nothing. And the produced code is pretty fast. Personally, I am using C in AI projects, because AI writes idiomatic C++ and Rust with lots of smart pointers and tiny memory allocations. Rust borrow checker doesn't help if your code is filled with ref-count pointers that panic at runtime instead of having compile-time checks. Most of the C++ and Rust training data is messy enterprise code. That's why I don't personally like these languages with AI. Most C example code is simple, which makes AI also write simple code. But you don't have the guard rails. AI writes asserts instead and I have my own leak tracker, which is perfectly fine setup for me.
