@CoxHelp That doesn’t help but it is an explanation. Why can’t Cox tell me that, even after the outage, without me reaching out? “We’re sorry you experienced an outage…” That would reflect good customer service.

@mrdrewlong We work diligently to limit the amount of downtime for our customers. Our normal maintenance window is between 12 AM-8 AM. Advance notice isn't always practical; however, we try to let customers know when a network upgrade will impact their service for more than a day. -Heather twitter.com/messages/compo…

@CoxHelp An idea to facilitate more efficient and timely communication around planned outages would be a text notification system. Customers could opt in to these notifications. You're a tech company in 2022 that relies on snail mail, email, and door hangers (never got mine).

I’ve seen a lot of Covid in the ER recently. With so many people getting infected recently, some folks may wonder what’s the point of getting vaccinated at all? And is there really any value to a booster dose if I’ve had two Pfizer/Moderna or a shot of J&J? My observations: 🧵
