Sounds about right. What’s funny is the trailer for TES6 wasn’t from the games. Bethesda didn’t start development of the game till 2023 and the ramped it up until after the Creation Engine 3 was ready February 2026. It’s no wonder it’ll be 2028 or longer before we see or play this game.

@GeeksGamersCom Game Pass is the heavy chain around Xbox's neck that will drag it into the abyss. There just aren't enough subscribers and rather than "demo" new games to players hoping they'll eventually buy them, it completely killed Xbox game sales, and subsequently, profits.

Well Obsidian isn’t the same because people get older, tastes change and so do how they do things. So yes Obsidian may not be the same but they have the experience to do the job. What I want to see is the same level of craftsmanship that went in to New Vegas crafted into this new Fallout they have been giving.

Xbox just hired Matthew Ball as their new Chief Strategy Officer. This is the same guy who’s spent years saying Xbox needs to actually make more games, build a stronger console business, and stop relying so heavily on Game Pass. Asha bringing him in from the outside looks like a smart move. She’s clearly not afraid to hire people who’ve been critical if it means actually fixing things. This is the kind of decision that shows she’s serious about turning things around.

@IGN Most of Xbox’s customer already have a console or PC. So them deciding to focuse on exclusives now is great but a little bit too late when you consider how much they plan to ask for their current console.

She doing what should have been done years ago. When you have studios taking your money and not putting out nothing in years there is a problem some should has addressed! Phil fucked XBOX by using Game Pass as the only metric to bolster its earning and then trying to get Sony and every other competitor on board. Why do thing Sony walked away from PC? To have dedicated exclusives on its own console. Why can XBOX do the same? Because it’s too damn bloated with fat.

If you are being paid to make games at some point you need to make a game that makes a profit and keeps gamers coming back. If you can’t do that the you should be fired for not doing your job. You do get a job just to have a job! You get a job to do the job! Not take money and then sit in your ass for eight years with nothing to show for it.
