All this while I’ve been up a hill in Kendal, without writing a word. Impressive.

@PhilRickman We've raised a generation who are only capable of taking things at face value. Perhaps during the current education shutdown, they missed the scheduled lesson on irony.

What every single episode of Fawlty Towers mocks is Basil Fawlty's white, lower-middle-class, snobbish, xenophobic provincialism. He is the joke.

@CheritonPhil @68Trooper68 @itvnews The resurgence has already begun in South Korea. You've only got to look at the number of people crammed onto our beaches to realise that the number of infections will rise over the next few weeks. Not sure what furloughing has to do with the safety of children's families.
English

@68Trooper68 @itvnews Lets just pick a date out of the air..Why not middle of July or maybe if you are getting furloughed at 80% we could make it end of August?..

@jimkyle90 @BBCNews That's because schools haven"t been fully open. Only a small percentage of children and a low number of staff members in school at any time. Ok, so the risk to children is low but think about the adults in their families if kids pick up the virus at school and carry it home.
