Late announcement but: I’ll be doing an MA in Linguistics and Cognitive Science at the Uni. of Delaware this fall! As the 1st in my family to go to a four-year uni., being able to continue my edu. while working full-time is a huge honor. I WILL keep pushing till I get that PhD!

I had half my Japanese linguistics students read a paper that argues that Japanese has no syllables, and the other half read a paper that argues for Japanese having syllables today, they fought it out in Phonology Court
