@thestephhinton Two-way communication is the gateway to true engagement, I believe. Districts should ask for parent feedback. Surveys, focus groups, advisory councils. Social media is an easy way to have a conversation, too. It’s more than a digital marquee for announcements. #oklaed

Is our communication with parents/guardians one-sided? Should it be? I'm seeing lots of great ideas on how to send parents communication, how are we receiving communication? How are we connecting #oklaed

@Whtmstr13 @OSSBAoklahoma Yes, the Family First Coronavirus Response Act (effective until the end of December) provides 80 hours of paid leave if a quarantine is recommended by a health care professional.

Maybe someone from @OSSBAoklahoma can answer this, but didn't the legislature say we could have 80 hours for quarantine that wouldn't affect our sick leave? #oklaed
