@GregYung2 @CarlaBeckSK True, but a more proactive approach to firefighting would help. The old Rapid Attack teams would go in and fight the fires from the start. They were ready and alert during lightning storms. Certainly a better approach than waiting g until the fires are close to communities.

Unreal. But this is what we’ve come to expect from these guys. The tired and out-of-touch Sask. Party continues to mismanage the province's finances, now projecting today a massive $349 million deficit. We said from day one that this budget wasn’t worth the paper it’s written on. The Sask. Party botched the resource and economic projections, and they said they were cancelling the carbon tax when they are now collecting even more from it. This is about basic honesty and integrity. They passed a budget they knew was nonsense. They can’t manage. This is a government that simply isn’t focused on building a bright future for the people of Saskatchewan.

As I write this an apartment building is burning in the northern village of Beauval, northern highways are closing due to the fire & evacuees have no where to go.

We're standing up for safer communities. Thank you to the mayors of North Battleford and The Battlefords, Mayor @kellihawtin and Mayor @amesleslie1 on calling on the federal government to reform Canada's broken bail system. We need to keep drug dealers, violent, and repeat offenders off our streets and out of our communities. It’s time to get tough on crime—because Saskatchewan families deserve to feel safe.

I do have more to say - I want to talk about how I decided to leave, and then what happened when I left. Some of you might remember Christi publicly talking shit about me on X while I was pregnant and homeless in Thunder Bay in the fall/winter of 2019

What I was told - that included cleaning the cook shack before and after every meal, paying workers from the camp account, doing speaking events to promote the camp, delegating tasks at camp, promoting the auctions on social media

Transgender & nonbinary people continue to face marginalization & discrimination in the form of transphobia. Transphobia can manifest as negative attitudes & beliefs about transgender people, derogatory language and name-calling, and bullying, abuse and violence.

@TheDHTaylor Knees and hips are fairly easily replaced, & the replacements can be repaired (speaking from experience) but I’m not sure about ankles, they seem to be delicate and complex, and challenging to fix.

Hanging out with the cousins in Florida. First thing this morning over breakfast we got into an animated discussion about what is the most annoying thing about getting old -we are all over 60. One cousin nominated Bad knees. For me it’s the bad ankles. Discuss.

I have some news I have been holding onto until things were complete, but it is close enough now. I accepted an offer on the house. We close on the 15th and we move on the 24th. We will be driving across the country to WA. I am trying to get us an apt, which has been a struggle.

@kdbk42 @RevDaniel That’s interesting. I was a skater mum in a very small ton and can barely skate but every time I hear Starwalker by Buffy Saint Marie I do skiing choreography in my head.

@RevDaniel I never did figure skating as competition, or for show, but for some strange reason I do skating choreography in my head when I listen to music! What does this mean? I have always wondered...
