I keep seeing people criticizing teachers, saying we are “indoctrinating” students. I can’t even get my students to take out their materials and listen when I’m giving them the answers to the test. But sure, ok.

Why is no one focused on the ridiculous amount of money Universities charge? Why is no one focused on large corporations demanding Bachelor’s degrees (usually don’t even have to be field specific) for entry level jobs? The focus is on the wrong problem.

If you can, take a few seconds today to tell someone you appreciate them. I told my son’s preschool teacher and I could see the emotional impact. Life is heavy and there is so much to balance. Most of us are walking around carrying a lot of stress. A few words can go a long way.

At @CRBCSD today, we celebrated a job well done on our 6-12 students’ ISASP scores with a free choice afternoon! We are all so proud of how they did! I got to hang with the high school golf group, who were practically professionals by the end of hole 9.
