Matthew Wright is still calling me a racist on Bluesky because I said that there are Islamists in Britain who are interested in political domination. I am very much enjoying ‘my moment’ because those 4 minutes alone have proven why the word ‘Islamophobia’ is nonsensical, why we don’t need a state approved definition of it, and how quickly leftists will resort to calling you racist if you point out facts they don’t like. If only he’d let me explain my point rather than hanging up on me, there’d be no moment at all.

@Pepelezoo @afneil the story stinks, anyone with half a brain can see that. pointing out an obvious possibility whilst exaggerating (“mugged”) does come across as supportive of the government’s position, where a proper journalist is typically more critical/adversarial you are entitled to your view

@mrtrueuk @afneil I would say Kevin Schofield is far from a cheerleader he is just pointing out that not everything is a scandal. The police will have Mandelson’s phone so the pertinent messages are hardly lost.

Watching this now (it's on BBC parliament). tbf, some guy who looks a hundred years old just gave a great argument for stopping these amendments on constitutional grounds. They effectively allow them to ban ANY online service at the ISP level. totally insane.

I went to the House of Lords yesterday and one of the Lords informed me that the average age of a Lord is 71 years of age. It’s very likely that a bunch of old people, who don’t understand the internet, are about to hand new totalitarian censorship powers to the state.

Ten Point Peace Plan Leaked: 1. Immediate ceasefire from all sides, but only during New York Stock Exchange trading hours 2. To guarantee security, the US will place $5bn worth of Bitcoin in a multi-signature smart contract, with the funds going to the innocent parry if the truce is violated. Polymarket is the escrow agent 3. Trump to return the FIFA peace prize and apologise to all football fans worldwide 4. Iran is allowed to participate in the world cup, but Trump must attend all Iran's matches and stay to the end 5. Iran can control the Strait of Hormuz and charge a fee for usage, but it must share the revenue earned with the Trump family, with the funds deposited in an offshore bank account 6. The ending of all sanctions, such that Iran can open an account at the CME and speculate on oil futures with leverage 7. Iran is allowed to enrich uranium on its soil, but only if Trump gets a 10% share of the riches, to be deposited in an offshore bank account 8. Iran's ballistic missile program can continue, unless war breaks out, in which case missile usage is banned 9. Israel is only allowed to assassinate one Iranian senior official in any rolling 12 month period 10. Iranian officials to stop mentioning that this war was started by the Epstein network. All parties to agree that Epstein had nothing to do with this war

BREAKING   Scotland Yard has confirmed that Morgan McSweeney reported the theft of his phone to them on October 20 last year   They took down ***the wrong address*** and assumed the offence had taken place in East London rather than Westminster   As a result they could not identify a suspect and the case was closed   The Times has been told officers were 'too busy' to speak to Morgan McSweeney directly about it   Having established the error following the report by The Sun on Sunday they have amended the report   Worth bearing in mind that this was the theft of the phone with the prime minister's number, the number of every cabinet minister, sensitive WhatsApps, messages, emails… you name it. This was NOT an ordinary phone Starmer: “On Monday, 20 October police received a report from a man in his 40s alleging that his phone had been snatched.   “The incident was recorded as having taken place in Belgrave Street, E1.   “A review of the allegation, including a consideration of whether there was available CCTV, did not identify any realistic lines of enquiry. The investigation was subsequently closed.   “In the course of responding to a recent media enquiry, we became aware that the address was entered incorrectly at the time of the initial call and should instead have been recorded as Belgrave Road, Pimlico.   “Having identified this error, the report will be amended and the assessment of whether there is available evidence revisited."

@Sammyjo1954 @Steven_Swinford are you referring to the days/weeks between Mandleson being sacked and the reported loss? well, if one to speculate it was disappeared on purpose, the unfolding sequence of events may not initially have been so apparent and it takes time to make such a drastic action

@zero_enoch @Steven_Swinford also possible, of course another speculation could be a choreographed version of the same, for plausibility the timing and convenience makes it frankly less convincing and naturally leaves room for speculation

I find it genuinely perplexing how Starmer became PM. He doesn’t seem to have any real aptitude for any of the things politics involves. He is a robotic speaker, not a deep policy thinker, no natural political antenna. And he clearly hates every minute of being cross examined even in a very civilised manner - isn’t that meant to be bread and butter for a former barrister?!
