@pwilmarth @mrwaas I don't think that's true. I've heard from many users who gladly use FAIMS to (1) knock down co-isolation of unwanted precursors and (2) improve instrument robustness. It has had its share of implementation issues, but it definitely has a place in some bottom up workflows.
