Has anybody bought a sauna recently? What’s the best one?

The true answer here is to build your own wood burning cabin sauna outdoors. Barrel saunas are just not worth it due to heat stratification and cold feet. You need your feet above the stones of the heater if you want the true elite Finnish experience. Here is the sauna I built on my property, happy to answer any questions about the technique! An indoor sauna works as well but involves the additional complexity of proper mechanical ventilation systems as to not mold out your house.

I’m caving and getting a sauna at home. Sorry LA Fitness. The debate is building one indoor or barrel outdoor? Any benefit of one vs the other besides not leaving the comfort of my house in winter.
