@esaagar Took me 1 hour this morning. Went to international terminal at ATL for a domestic flight. I arrived 5 hours early, only took an hour. Very orderly and well managed. Border and customs agents helping with line management. I’m having coffee and working for the next 4 hours ☕️ 💻

🇺🇸 IT’S OFFICIAL! 🇺🇸 Excited to announce that I will be your Republican nominee this November for House District 48. It’s truly humbling to serve and be on your ballot. I work every day to champion common sense, bipartisan issues that unite us and moves our state forward.

Our team who works just about 24/7 is constructively debating parking prices. We just saw this on the socials and it has us rethinking our parking pricing. Should we model our 6 acres of street level parking around this price point? Any thoughts?

@JonnyBird More bars and fun near the Benz 🙏 Falcons season ticket owner for 22 years … parking $$ is insane, it has ruined tailgating, if only there were an example of a successful mixed use development near a stadium in Atlanta 🤔 keep up the good work Jon!

Not a big fan of putting out renderings of “the future” but our talented team had some laying around during the courting phase so we sent them out. I personally can’t promise Broad Street will look like this but what I can confirm is Jason and Sam are dedicating their Atlanta-raised soul into this restaurant and we are behind their vision every step of the way. These are risky times. We have immense respect to every believer dedicating their profession and craft to our city and our downtown.

“Democrats haven’t nominated a governor since 1992 (Bill Clinton), and before that 1976 (Jimmy Carter). They both won — so Democrats being Democrats, they promptly stopped nominating governors. It might be time to try that again.” news-gazette.com/news/town-hall…

@MarkBuffBIP Only 10% ? How many of us non-governmental employees go through cuts like this on a yearly basis? Mostly without severance packages, mostly with less warning, mostly without anyone caring. Sending in the Bob’s on week 1 with cuts on week 3 is a breath of fresh air.

Balancing empathy for those whose lives are being upended with the realization that we have to significantly reduce Federal government expenditures is hard. Even for reporters. Heather, why are you only reporting on one side of this issue (the impact on the 275,000 people)? Why are you not reporting on the 300 million Americans and future generations who are benefiting from the cost cutting exercises?
Heather Long@byHeatherLong

Roughly 275,000 federal workers lost their jobs this week. That's over 10% of the federal workforce. ~75,000 took the "buyout" ~200,000 probationary workers were let go (the WH has not confirmed the total, but this is how many were on probationary status) That's a lot of lives upended. And many gov't services will be impacted. While most organizations can survive a 10% cut, keep in mind these cuts were not even across the gov't. Many agencies hit hard in Trump's first term are being decimated now.

Today, I was proud to introduce legislation to keep cell phones out of our classrooms - so students can flourish and teachers feel empowered by clear policy. Excessive screen time is taking a toll on both academics and mental health - it’s time to take action. #gapol

@jspujji Job vs. Role is something I preach a lot. Your role is what is in your job description, it’s the ideal. Your job is to help your boss, period. It’s Jerry Maquire , help me, help you!

This week, a 21 year old marketer on my team asked me how to get promoted faster… My answer: Learn to manage up. Most people suck at it. They say too much or too little. Here are 8 ways to give the right amount of context:

@jspujji Clear, concise, communication 👏 👏 I spend a lot of time training junior employees how to write emails (or not to write them 😉) and cleaning up power points. How you communicate, imo, is the #1 barrier preventing young employees from moving up.

@jspujji 💯 I find that too many new and junior employees think promotions are like college or a video game. Check the boxes and receive rewards. Managing up is key. It’s not about just checking the boxes or completing the mission, it’s how you do it and how you communicate it.

ChatGPT is bleeding users to DeepSeek bc it failed to build a personalization moat. No questions about me or what I prefer. No templates for my frequent use cases. No social or integrations. I could never leave Spotify bc of my playlists & algorithm. But ChatGPT? 🏃‍➡️🚪

How many of you attended the old 790 The Zone out of control AFC/NFC parties or the Cheetah March Madness throw down we hosted for almost a decade? Two events that were simply icons in the 2000's.

@MarioNawfal I always thought Elon was more like Benjamin Franklin. Inventor, scientist, outsized political influence without being elected. And finally, X is the printing press of the 21st century. Above all, Franklin was a printer and post master... sounds like X to me!

MILEI: ELON IS THE THOMAS EDISON OF OUR TIME “I have an excellent relationship with Elon Musk. In my opinion, he is the Thomas Edison of the present, or I might even say a Michelangelo, a Leonardo da Vinci. To me, he seems to be an admirable, formidable being, a person who dazzles.” Source: Quarta Repubblica Italy, December 16, 2024, @elonmusk , @JMilei
