Hi @KastleWallet (and any other wallets that would like to be integrated on kasbridge-evm.kaspafoundation.org, feel free to DM or email support@kaspafoundation.org to connect with us! [just got scolded for "not actively reaching out to projects" 😅😅] 30,000,000 ~ 40,000,000 $KAS & ~100,000 USDC/USDT are bridged to @kasplex L2 via #kurve. We will update major wallet integration of #KURVE as a DAPP soon!
JH@oneforonehaha

Hi I just checked your docs. It seems some methods are missing for @KastleWallet and I will use kasware docs here as a reference (so that I don't like look a paid salesman for @KasperiaWallet lol). 1. getNetwork: await kasware.getNetwrok() return -> mainnet/testnet 2. getBalance: await kasware.getbalance return -> { "confirmed": 100000000, "unconfirmed": 0, "total": 100000000 } 3. accountsChanged kasware.on("accountsChanged", (accounts) => { console.log(accounts) }) return -> ["kaspa:xxxxx"] 4. networkChanged kasware.on("networkChanged", (network) => { console.log(network) }) return ->mainnet/testnet 5. balanceChanged kasware.on("balanceChanged", (balance) => { console.log(balance) }) These APIs are not found, and they are quite basic interoperability's for wallet <> app. lmk if I missed any doc that contain these information. If you don't wish to put these in public documents for some reason, kindly send an email re these methods to support@kaspafoundation.org cc @teoscure @Chriscrypto_89 @paramagic180 @leobragaz

More details about @ELLIPAL integration from @Kaspa_KEF Thanks, #KEF!
Kaspa Eco Foundation (KEF)@Kaspa_KEF

It’s official: @ELLIPAL has gone above and beyond to fully embrace the #Kaspa ecosystem, honoring their commitment made last Christmas. The integration is now live, and more than what they promised: #Kaspa L1 supported on the Titan series; @Kasplex supported across the entire product line, including the Titan series and X Card. In a market where security is everything, @ELLIPAL gives #Kaspa users a smarter way to stay in control: no cables, no Bluetooth, no unnecessary exposure. Just secure, independent, next-level self-custody designed for serious holders. We are currently crafting a special batch of #Kaspa x @Kasplex co-branded wallets. We can’t wait to hand these out to our beloved #Kaspa Fam during our offline events this year. See you on the road. 🌍 ellipal.com/pages/kaspa-wa…

Kaspa devs got funded early with big bags of coins (Rust rewrite fund ~100M KAS, DAGKnight ~70M) back when the price was dirt cheap. Those coins paid for rewriting the codebase in Rust (faster, better) and building major upgrades: • Crescendo already hitting 10 blocks/sec • DAGKnight coming Q3 2026, targeting 30–40 blocks/sec, more secure & adaptive Most devs never sold and still holding like true believers.

@VitalikButerin The whole undertone of this post flatly contradicts your posts from the other week about the trust in Ethereum being independent of your politics and how you score on moral judgment. Can you please clarify which is it?

Sure, important question. There are two vectors of affecting global events: 1. Affecting the *structure* of the world in a way which is unopinionated on individual situations, but at the same time has clear tendencies that lead to desirable outcomes (eg. enfranchising otherwise disenfranchised people). This inevitably involves acting on some opinions about what high-level properties are good to see more of in the world. 2. Affecting specific individual situations. This inevitably involves acting on your opinions on those situations. I think the it's healthy for the Ethereum community as a community to conceptualize itself as doing (1) and not doing (2). The Ethereum Foundation is not Ethereum, but even the Ethereum Foundation should bias heavily toward (1). At the same time, each contributor to Ethereum is not some godlike avatar of Ethereum, they are a human being, and so they will inevitably have opinions of type (2), and various people will have various side projects (on the low end, maintaining an opinionated twitter presence, and on the high end, being actively involved on the ground) of type (2). And of course as a matter of statistical averages and clustering dynamics, different communities will end up having different aggregate leanings on various issues of type (2). We should not pretend that this does not happen, but it is wise to maintain a line of such leanings not being "official".

Rusty Kaspa v1.1.0 is out. Faster syncing, less storage, and exchanges/wallets building on Kaspa just got a much easier time of it. The big one for integrators is a new API call that returns chain updates and transaction data together in one go, instead of having to juggle multiple parallel requests. If you've ever tried to integrate Kaspa and cursed at the DAG complexity, this is the fix. Node operators get up to 3x faster sync in the early header stage on some machines, plus lower disk usage. The stratum bridge also shipped as beta if you're running mining infrastructure. One heads-up - DB version bumped to 6. Upgrade is automatic, but you can't roll back to an older version without wiping the DB. github.com/kaspanet/rusty…

We heard questions raised about the stable coin bridge fees, and here are some clarifications: 1. $10 is a one-time fixed amount (not a %). If you bridge in&out 20U, the bridge cost is 50%. If you bridge in&out 200U, the fee is 5%. If you bridge in&out 20000U, the fee is 0.05%. 2. Fee Standards: here are fees of other birgde services in the picture. $10 is a lot comparing to the very low L1 TX cost, thanks to the excellent #kaspa technology. Unfortunately, $10 is still cheap for EVM chain brigdes. 3. Fees collected by @Kaspa_KEF will be used to support #Kaspa L1 initiatives as we always do: kaspafoundation.org/#/projects ------ @oneforonehaha asked us to add his comments, too lol: "@KaspaSilver asked 'supposedly', and it smells again like a moral question. It seems the real question asks 'is this ethical pricing?' I believe it is. The fee is transparent and is fair to market players; there can be competition, and anyone can build a bridge with lower fees and sell that service. The implication here is concerning: some seem to think that they should enjoy free/non-profit services from devs/builders/infrastructure providers, while some other seem to simply think L1 is much cheaper. Well, (1) I love #kaspa L1, too but (2) L1 is cheaper because miners are "service providers". The TX fees are not enough for miners to offset their costs [knock knock the security budget problem comes again!], and we are all taking advantage of the low fees in that regard. wdyt @KaspaSilver?" ^

To @kasplex @Kaspa_KEF Is it really supposed to cost $10 to bridge out of Kasplex USDC L2?

Kaspa x Oxford. This is a key signal in Kaspa’s next stage of adoption. Hey, @Kaspa_KEF, connect with @Seb28_7 about a Kaspa-U type initiative many have been working on, KUDOS. KUDOS (Kaspa for Universities, Developers and Open Science) is a global academic network that brings universities, students, professors and developers together to learn, research, explore, and innovate on Kaspa’s real-time decentralized infrastructure. It’s been in practice for a while with some college and university Kaspa events and meetups, but KUDOS is next level. And there’s an KasArmy forming to see it happen. Excited to see what comes of this potential historic event! On the note of a Hackathon, connect with @IzioDev about @kaspathon, Kaspa’s first hackathon event. The team there have done an amazing work. More to come. @oneforonehaha
Kaspa Eco Foundation (KEF)@Kaspa_KEF

The Foundation’s @oneforonehaha signing a strategic alliance in the President's Office of @OxfordUnion founded in 1823. #Kaspa aligns with a venue that has hosted history’s architects - Albert Einstein, John Ellis, John Nash, Ronald Reagan, Mike Pence, Peter Thiel, Jack Dorsey - and was among the first institutions to debate #Bitcoin over a decade ago. We have faith that #Kaspa goes beyond a great tech; it will bring profound social change sooner or later. Beyond a defining brand presence this term, @hashdag will lead a flagship speech tentatively scheduled on March 12, 2026, following the worthy predecessors. We are positioning #Kaspa to reignite that discourse, arguably as the most significant PoW protocol to grace this podium since. Broader initiatives including a hackathon for Oxford talented builders in the near future.

Kaspa is real-time bitcoin, solving scalability is great but not the core value prop. Real-time bitcoin means achieving in a few seconds the same security guarantees that nakamoto consensus / bitcoin achieves after an hour; decentralizing each consensus round rather than chain quality achieved through a coarse aggregate of rounds. A clean definition anchor for real-time decentralization (RTD): The ability to sample the honest majority in real-time. (Note that even fast leaderless VRF-based proof-of-stake cant sample honestly bc the selected nodes get to choose the content of their blocks after they've been selected; pos=select then write, pow=write then select) -- RTD affects: txn confirmation, censorship resistance, secure oracle finality, MEV resistance. Eg censorship resistance, bitcoin is the most censorship resistant chain, but if 60% of the miners are censoring you (point in reference: OFAC abiding tornado censoring eth miners), your txn will pend for 30-40 minutes. For shady business payments that's not prohibitive, but for a real economy, for an asset aspiring to be at least a king of collateral even if not an MoE, this is unacceptable, esp under economic stress. Beyond censorship, all things finance benefit tremendously from pow density, from sampling the majority in real-time in a secure and honest manner. I wont get into MEV resistance now, but having a "conscious" stream of oracle attestations (not price oracles) finalized in real-time qualitatively upgrades the ability to encode informed risk, collateral, liquidity management, which is the lifeblood of defi. In context of conf times, increasing from 1 to 10bps saturates the latency optimization. But for pow density we need dozens of blocks per second, with the endgame of 100 bps: Under 10bps a 37% attacker can fake the majority signal with probability 12%. With 100bps this drops to 0.3%. Today Kaspa can't accelerate to >10bps w/o harming conf times, but DAGKNIGHT will be implemented hopefully by Q3 at least on testnet, by which we will push for 25-40bps. The cherry on top: RTD also implies netsplit resistance, as per the partial synchrony framework. WWIII cyberwar resistance. Hypothetically speaking ofc.
