Tomorrow’s Budget will be our most responsible and our most ambitious. It will support Australians through this global oil shock at the same time as we reform our economy for the future.

Outside of my family and job, there's nothing on earth I speak to people about more often than golf. In the last five years I do not think anyone has ever brought up something that happened on LIV. Not one thing. It never justified its own existence for even a moment.

😠 "Do you think that's a good look for the game?!" 🗣 "It's not ideal..." #AFL360's Garry Lyon and the AFL's Greg Swann go head-to-head on the stand rule, with Lyon in disbelief over the Ben Miller call from Anzac Eve.

@RonnyLerner works best with 20 teams everyone plays everyone once, then the ladder is split into 5's (or 4's) the remaining games youre fighting for top 4 or top 8/wc the last 4 games to make 23 games for the season, would also make it so whoever you play away one year you play home the nxt

It would never happen, but this is how I would configure the AFL season when Tasmania comes in: Every team plays each other once (18 games), then have the “wildcard games” and an extended finals series which sees the top 8 play each other in a mini season (another 7 games each), and then the top 4 go through to the prelims. More quality games between the best teams and fewer poor games. It means the bottom 8 are inactive for a longer time, but would give them a huge advantage for the following season with so much rest. But that would cut the amount of games from 218 to 204, and while it doesn’t seem that much (especially if there’s more quality over quantity) the chances of the AFL leaving that much cash on the table with lost “content” are basically non-existent.

@ollycaffrey Call me crazy, but I dunno if official AFL accounts need to be posting Facebook memes... The Tassie team comes with so much in-built goodwill. A combative expansion-NSW style social strategy attacking clubs makes zero sense to me...

Fuckin lol. Lmao Almost entirely box score watching here (got home halfway through the last) but Nick’s Jesus himself, Perryman looks to have had a night, and that’s a good response from Lipinski and Elliott (now back it up in a couple weeks against an actual team)

Collingwood have kids. They just need to be exposed at the level. Nick the match winner again; but Steene, Anderson, Hayes, Long, Steele all impactful in that last quarter.
