@mpr_reviews 8 GB 5060 on par with 12 GB 5070 lol. Looks like a driver issue. The 5070 should be getting a lot more frame rates if the 5060 numbers are true.

Seems like a few bugs with Pragmata review version. The 5060 and 5060 Ti 8GB matching the 5070 when path tracing is used at 1440p, and surpassing it at 4K. The 8GB models also being quite a lot faster than the 16GB models. I'd wait for day 1 patch + benchmarks as these seem bugged. Source: @TechPowerUp

@BMKing23 People laughed at me when I paired my 9800X3D with my 5070 lol. Those high 1% lows makes CPU bound games a cakewalk and most AAA games are CPU bound, especially with ray tracing. Just buttery smooth gameplay.

The CPU-intensive nature of #Samson makes it one of the best use cases for Frame Generation. The GPU has plenty of headroom, allowing FG to operate more efficiently, this results in a substantial boost to smoothness and frame rate with a small increase in latency.

@militantboner @BlooHook HL is just badly optimized and with ray tracing, the game is incredibly CPU bound to the point where only the 9800X3D can deliver smooth frame rates. GPU usage is still low even on that CPU.

@BlooHook Enabling any RT features drops GPU usage considerably. DLSS and FG don’t add any performance. My 9800X3D/5090 pushes the game 200+ FPS with just DLAA. It shouldn’t be this way.

DSOG's thoughts on 6x MFG / Dynamic FG so far - Works really well in UE titles (Hogwarts, SH2, Borderlands 4) - Stutters in idTech titles (Indiana Jones, DOOM Dark Ages) - Some slight lag with CP2077 but still preferable - Heavy artifacting in Alan Wake 2 dsogaming.com/articles/weve-…

@mpr_reviews Did you notice frame gen looking "clearer" with Preset B? As in frame pacing feels noticeably better than before.

@VideoCardz Changing the name won't change the fact that it's significantly worse than NVIDIA's Reflex lol.

@BMKing23 Dude this game seems to having issues with people running on amd X3D cpus. Including myself and some other folks on the steam discussion forums for this game are having similar stuttering and unstable frame them graphs. Can you confirm on your end?

My first impressions of #DeathStranding2PC are very positive, the game looks stunning and runs well overall and so far zero shader compilation stutters or traversal hitches. The graphics settings are more streamlined than typical Nixxes ports but they scale well performance-wise.

@mpr_reviews Death Stranding 2 is a safe bet since we know the game is good and performance should be great since it's Decima but Crimson desert, IDK, everything about it feels shady to me. Will wait for reviews.

@TerraWarePC PC gamers are the first one to disable all artistic crap in a game, film grain, chromatic aberration, using reshade to change color grading, etc. And yet the amount of outrage and vitriol they're touting in the name of "art direction" is a hard pill for me to swallow.

The discussion about artistic intent is an interesting and valid one regarding DLSS 5 although what would that be in this case? The left with PT? Middle with RT? Or right full raster? What if Capcom approved the way DLSS 5 looked in their game? Would that make it more legit? I personally value what I think more when playing a game and how I tweak the visuals. Lighting can have dramatic effects on a game that aims for realism. DLSS 5 cranks this to 11 for better or worse thats up to you. Do I like it? I most certainly like the tech and see the potential it can have. Stuff like this is what separates PCs from other gaming platforms, options and breakthroughs in technologies. I love options. My biggest criticism about DLSS 5 would in the naming. I think calling it DLSS Neural Rendered Lighting or something would've made more sense but I look forward to seeing how tech like this can transform many games in my library.

@mpr_reviews Honestly if someone even gifted me a 9070XT for free, I would immediately sell that shit and get a 5070Ti instead. DLSS 4.5 availability, more and more games coming out with path tracing and heavy ray tracing, it's absolutely worth it if you play mostly single player games.

I think AMD has done quite a bit of damage with their radio silence on FSR 4 for previous generation GPUs, coupled with EOL driver support being announced and then retracted for products not that old. Perhaps people dont have faith that AMD will support their products for an extended period of time. I've seen quite a few frustrated posts from pro-AMD accounts, and I definitely understand it. Whether the DLSS / RTX feature set is worth the price difference only you can decide. Here the difference between the 9070 XT and 5070 Ti is about $125USD, and at that price difference it's worth it to me personally. It wont be the same for everybody though.

What is crazy is that the RTX 5070ti went up to $1,000+ and people are still purchasing it over the AMD 9070 and XT.

@Jackgamer74 that doesnt fcking work. imagine how much better gfx would be rn without nvidia scams like ray tracing, path tracing, DLSS and worst of all of them frame generation But they made a GPU designed 100% for AI not gaming (Jen Hsuang has openly admitted), and had to use it somehow
