A reminder that the president is YOUR elected official. His job description under Section 14(2)(b) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria explicitly states: "The security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government." The constitution does not say the primary purpose of government is to issue orders regarding security; it says the primary purpose is to secure the people. When orders fall short, the immediate next step is: An administrative overhaul under Section 218(2) of the 1999 Constitution. Prosecution of confirmed terrorists and funders. Instead... The terrorists have been reintegrated into society, and funders are shielded by political bureaucracy and left walking the streets completely free. Meanwhile, his Attorney General (Lateef Fagbemi, SAN) and the EFCC Chairman (Ola Olukoyede) are still securely in office, protected by low-level conviction statistics.

Fatima, a beloved teacher in Luxembourg, was fired for speaking out against the kiIIing of children in Gaza. Her students and their families organized a peaceful demonstration demanding justice and her immediate return to the classroom. ✊

I am writing these words to you from inside Gaza City, and I say this with complete honesty: the situation has become extremely dangerous, perhaps worse than ever before. Temperatures continue to rise, and the tents have turned into real ovens. More than 170,000 tents across Gaza City are sheltering thousands of families in conditions that are impossible to describe. Inside these tents, temperatures exceed 50°C (122°F). There is no electricity, no fans, no air conditioning, and none of the basic necessities needed to survive. The tents are packed tightly together, with almost no space between them. Many families are forced to leave their tents and sit in the streets because remaining inside has become unbearable. Water is desperately scarce, and the extreme heat is making thirst even more severe. And this is only the beginning of summer. Every day, I see the effects of the intense heat on children’s bodies heat rashes, exhaustion, and suffering while insects emerging from the ground make life even harder. The coming days could be even more devastating if these conditions continue. The tents are no longer places of shelter; they have become another source of danger. Please don’t let these families be forgotten. Speak about them. Write about them. Share their stories with others. Keep their voices alive and let the world know what is happening. Behind every tent is a family struggling to survive. They need to be seen, they need to be heard, and they need your solidarity.

Black people don’t hang themselves on campus at a Job Corps center where students have reported experiencing racism in a state that ranks second in lynchings after dislocating their shoulder the same day. Justice Kai James was lynched.

The 3 wise men from the East are set to head to Rome: Chimdiebube Onwubiko, Egejurum Onyedikachi, and Don Anele Munachimso. Their assignment is simple: bring back the gold. They will be competing with 154 other countries in Rome, Italy, this week. Since Nigeria couldn’t qualify for the World Cup, this will be our World Cup.

If you want to know why it’s 100+ degrees everywhere. WAR. BOMBS. CHEMICAL AGENTS. FIRES. OIL LEAKS. TOXINS IN THE WATER. DEFORESTATION. REMOVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONS. MAN. GREED. IGNORANCE. Notice how the people who deny global warming are those who are creating it for greed?

I will ALWAYS remind ppl that US birthright citizenship was created for Black Americans to secure their citizenship after slavery. It's a perfect example of how laws uplifting Black America have a universal benefit in the long run.

The raping of girls and women and femicide is not a immigrants issue. It is a misogyny and patriarchy issue. It is a men issue. If you genuinely care and want to address it, you address it using feminism. Not anti migration rhetoric
