@DannyPSteele @KenCarman This is accurate, but also a different discussion. All first round picks are certainly not created equal. Ken is merely pointing out in a more general sense the hope associated with a high pick, and how it doesn’t always go how you expect it to go.

@KenCarman @msoj77 Not all 1st rounders have the same potential. DeLauter would have been a top 5 pick if not for injuries coming out. That was said in that draft year. Only reason he fell to Guards.

@CovertheCorner They won the individual game, but the Red Sox lost the series after the Carlton Fisk HR. No one would argue the impact of that one… And MLB Network has mentioned Rajai HR and the ‘16 game seven as one of the greatest moments/games in WS history.

@SportsBoyTony 100%. No one would argue the aesthetic charm of a snow game, but imagine your favorite team playing for a Super Bowl berth, and it gets decided by who slips and falls less. Pretty lame.

Feels like our time was completely wasted watching whatever version of football this was. I prefer the sport when the athletic freaks of nature can actually run more than a few feet without wiping out. As non-entertaining a big sporting event as I can remember

@SportsBoyTony @PhenoMVP What you’re saying is correct. It is a poor outcome, and speaks to an overall issue, but that’s a different conversation. Ostensibly, the graph’s purpose is to specifically show quality/accuracy of passes, and a throwaway shouldn’t be included as it’s an intentionally poor throw

@PhenoMVP but there is a correlation there that actually kinda makes sense. If you're missing your early reads and making those anticipatory throwns (all-22 consistently showed this) then a throwaway -- while not a turnover -- was still a poor outcome

Look I’m not a Shedeur QB1 guy but this is incredibly deceiving because it includes throwaways which Shedeur was doing a ton to avoid sacks.

#NFL INT-Worthy & Uncatchable Throws 2025 Joe Burrow is in a tier of his own. Shedeur Sanders is too - just not the one you want. Data charted by @FTNFantasy

@TheRealLA__ Man. You make one factual, non hot take statement and the SS hive (and fire the HC mob) goes wild. Cheers for all that you do. I’m almost just down to you and the OBR crew for anything Browns at this point. Can’t take the insanity.

I have talked often about my INTs and I feel like #BrockPurdy plays a lot like me… He is mostly really good & makes a lot of big time throws, but it seems like every miss (which usually is a couple a game - which is actually very good) is an INT & the D rarely seems to drop any of his bad balls (unlike a lot of other guys)! Working Theory: I def think there is something to guys who throw with more touch/less velocity have higher completion rates but also higher INT rates bc their passes are easier to catch for their guys and others!! Thoughts?

@HatClub These are great. Would love to see a hat with the “lost” 1965 Browns “CB” helmet logo.

@ChrisFedor Always confused by comments like this. When newspapers/magazines were the primary source for articles, did the publishers give them away? No. You subscribed or bought issues at a store. The writers are still doing the work, it’s just an electronic format instead of print.

I have no control over this, Nick. I’m sorry you feel this way. But I see the numbers on my stories daily. And I can tell you that many many many people are still reading.

@ChrisFedor Chris it’s 2025, tell your employer to make their money on advertising, not a paywall. No one is reading your material because of it.

@JakerBrahney @JaredKMueller And the outragers have a built-in talking point either way. If they lose too many, you get this. If they win too many, they say we screwed up draft position. Yet if they were truly tanking for a high pick, they’d scream even more about losses. You can’t win with the screamers.

Smackdown @WWE went on sale today for @barclayscenter This is the current seat map after the presale and onsale. They still haven’t released half the building too. @TKOGrp here’s a free suggestion. Stop being greedy jackasses. Everyone knows it #paystowait on WWE events.

@bad_toaster9 @JaredKMueller I’d add that they were on the positive side of variance in ‘23 with several wins in coin flip games. It goes both ways.

@bad_toaster9 @JaredKMueller Being frustrated with prolonged inconsistency is a different conversation. Just pointing out that they could easily be 0-6 or 3-3, but the fan reaction would be totally different, even though the same issues would be there. Most don’t bother to go any deeper than record.

The funny thing with the Browns drama at this point is that one kick against the Bengals and/or one first down against the Vikings late in the game and there is no drama

Twitter is about 10% or less of sports fans. Social media, in general, is less than half. No, the Shedeur Sanders "noise" is not worth impacting any decision and is not affecting the team beyond seconds of annoyance. We just live in this space so it feels like its BIG
