Taking my grandma on any storm chases near home has become a tradition of mine over the last few years. When I was 18 and did not have my own chasing vehicle, she stepped up to the challenge and would drive me around in her own Rav4 if I wanted to go chasing. Fast forward 4 years and now she has seen 11 tornadoes including this monster wedge shaped tornado near Kankakee, IL this past Tuesday.

Good afternoon everyone! Quick update on what to expect chase wise over the next few weeks. Unfortunately a week ago during the chaser summit, I injured by knee playing basketball. Likely a torn Meniscus and or ACL. I have an MRI next week to figure out exactly but until then I will not be chasing anything. Thankfully there isn’t anything worth chasing anyway but depending on if I need surgery I unfortunately may have to step back from chasing for a short period of time. Regardless I will likely have to take it down a few notches from the grind we have been on the last 3 months. For any major events the next few weeks I will find a way to get out there and stream but any of the smaller stuff we would normally chase and stream will have to be skipped. Thanks for your support as always, and I will give updates as I have them!
