“ Trabajo en Rosa Negra Cancún, donde una cena fácilmente supera los $5,000 pesos. Ayer atendí a una pareja que pidió sin limitarse: arrachera, pulpo, varios gin tonics… disfrutaron de todo.
Cuando llegó la cuenta —con el 15% de servicio incluido— el señor se molestó:
—¿Por qué lo incluyen sin avisar?
Le expliqué con respeto que es la política del restaurante. ¿Su reacción? Dejó $100 pesos por una cuenta de más de cinco mil.
Con calma le dije:
—Si no quieres dejar el porcentaje completo, es válido, pero dejar algo simbólico termina siendo ofensivo.
Se incomodó, sacó el celular y empezó a hablar de “derechos del cliente” y que iba a reportarlo… como si pedir una propina justa después de un consumo así fuera exagerado.
La realidad es simple: quienes trabajamos en servicio vivimos en gran parte de las propinas. Si puedes pagar el lujo, también valora el trabajo. Y si no estás de acuerdo con el servicio incluido, siempre hay otras opciones. “

After four editions bringing together the global Web3 community in Paris, we have to face reality: NFT Paris 2026 will not happen.
The market collapse hit us hard. Despite drastic cost cuts and months of trying to make it work, we couldn't pull it off this year.
All tickets will be refunded within 15 days.
To those of you who had already booked flights and hotels — we're truly sorry. We know how frustrating this is.

Looking back at four years, we're proud of what we built together: tens of thousands of attendees, hundreds of speakers, and countless connections made. But endings are tough.
