Big updates on Gemini in Chrome today: + New side panel access (Control+G) + Runs in the background, so you can switch tabs + Quickly edit images with Nano Banana + Auto Browse for multi-step tasks (Preview) + Works on Mac, Windows, Chromebook Plus I’m using it multiple times per day to judge what to read deeper. I open a page, Control+G to open the side panel, ask a question about the page or long document, switch tabs, do the same thing in another tab, another tab, etc. and then come back to all of them. It’s also great for comparing across tabs since you can add multiple tabs to the context!

(1/2) Personal Intelligence just landed in AI Mode – unlocking a Google Search experience that really *gets* you. Starting with subscribers, if you opt in to connecting Search to apps like Gmail and Google Photos, you can get responses that are uniquely helpful and tailored to you. I’ve been testing this out a ton and I’m genuinely impressed at how intuitive it’s been. AI Mode is not just searching, it’s helping connect the dots across my interests and preferences. For eg: it found family activities that slot perfectly into my travel plans – and even uncovered items that match my specific style... (like nailing it with recommending new shoes! 👟)

Helpful update for students, you can now take full practice SATs for free in the @GeminiApp. It uses vetted content from @ThePrincetonRev and gives you feedback straight away. Starting with the SAT today, but more tests are on the way!
