@jonfavs …well, mandatory spending on social programs is 59% of the budget, discretionary for all others is 14%, interest is 14%, and defense is 13%. Maybe the key to your hyperbole is balancing the annual budget so we’re not paying 14% a year in interest??

@CJS_POSTS @nypost 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Read the second paragraph, dumb-fuck. Additionally, even if there is a scintilla of truth - Iranian security forces killed over 30k protestors on Jan 8th, which means there just ‘may’ have been an element of self-defense. They MURDERED him.

“Their lives are forfeit” says the internet dork whose biggest battlefield is X. You’re not anti-war, and certainly not-‘benefits you get from American freedoms’ paid for by military members as you spew this low-brow, edge-lord tantrum. You’re a coward with a hard-on for dead Americans because of some narcissistic virtue-signaling hypocrisy.

Why are some people happy that a F35 got shot down but landed safely? Say what you want about Trump but don’t wish harm on my fellow military family. I might be out of the service but once you served you’re a family for life.

@logotrix @DailyMail 😂😂😂 ….uhhhhhhhh…why don’t you give “Attack on Pearl Harbor”, a quick Google, and find out: 1. When it was; 2. Who attacked whom. Moron.

Your false equivalence between the US military and Islamic regime is the same as opining on the merits of a criminal versus law enforcement having weapons. We spend 100s of thousands per unit on a smart bomb to hit a missile launcher - they strike civilian oil tankers and the Burj Khalifa, deliberately.

There’s more to the Joe Kent story than meets the eye. According to friends, apparently, Joe leaked intelligence under the nose of the Secretary of War. As a result, his access to classified information was removed several weeks ago. He’s not stepping down due to his allegiance to integrity, he’s being forced to leave.

@BuzzPatterson Does not pass smell test. Director NCTC requires TS/SCI access. If his clearance was lost or suspended, he would be removed that day, not weeks later. This looks like effort to discredit him after the fact.

Being imprisoned for over a decade for the political crime of removing a poster is despotism, and the fact he died from his treatment by North Korea is disgraceful. Every country on the planet has immigration policies and enforces them. Being sent back to a country of origin after someone violates immigration law is standard procedure across the planet. If they pass away in custody then it’s tragic. The two are completely incomparable. Bansky would get life in prison/executed in North Korea - put it that way.

@ellaella963 @holliemaea @Osint613 Dude, you have to stop. This is embarrassing to read, truly. Zero sources. Zero response to a single point I made. Still waiting on those “real facts” from a Canadian who is functionally illiterate on military history lecturing an American veteran that has lived it.

President Trump: “You have to remember, we have 45,000 troops in Japan, 45,000 in South Korea, and 50,000 in Germany.” We defend all these countries, and then I ask them: “Do you have any minesweepers?” They say, “Well, would it be possible for us not to get involved?”

I’ll indulge your baseless, categorically incorrect drivel. 1. Yes we did. 2. I’ve been on numerous successful missions and operations (not the point). 3. What “real facts” are those regarding WW2? Germany and Japan lost, the war in Europe was won by trans-ocean logistics (Battle of the Atlantic), which US manufacturing made possible and the US Navy successfully prosecuted against German U-Boats. The Pacific ended after a series of US-led victories pushing towards mainland Japan culminating with 2 mushroom clouds, and even the Soviet military relied on US parts and food to supply their forces the whole war. As for South Korea, the landing at Inchon saved the country from being overrun by North Korea and the US military stopped the Chinese dead in their tracks at the 38th parallel. The totality of WW2 was won by US logistics and forces, and South Korea only exists (and continues to) because of US military intervention and support. So please, cognitively-dissonant, gaslighting Canadian broker…present specific, counter posts that don’t involve a deluge of vowels and explain your assertions. I’m fascinated to hear what geopolitical and strategic military assessments you want to pull out of your hat, and how they tie into analyzing efficacious military alliances.

@mtflipper @holliemaea @Osint613 Ahahahaahahhahaahahhahahahahahahaah You saved other countries? Have you ever won a war? By the way, look at the real facts of World War II, the US came in at the very end and no, the US didn’t win that war either.

@dlLambo Riiiigghhhtt…because it couldn’t have anything to do with 6 decades of socialist policies, lack of redundant energy infrastructure, gross incompetence, and deprecated/multi-decade outdated substations. It’s all the US’s fault…not the bumbling, corrupt Cuban government.

CNN: Breaking news. Cuba's electrical grid has suffered a complete and total collapse. The USA is a terrorist state. Hospitals, nursing homes, water treatment plants. All without power because of a cruel and illegal medieval siege of a tiny island.

@holliemaea @Osint613 It should have nothing to do with Trump. All three of those nations literally only exist because we saved them from totalitarian dictators or conquest, AND, have protected them for over 7 decades. If the US says “jump” they either do, or, we rethink bullshit military alliances.

I’m not a Navy guy, so someone may have to help me here. When did attacking from ambush and destroying the enemy while incurring minimal risk to our own personnel become a suboptimal choice?
Tom Nichols@RadioFreeTom

The people cheering the submarine attack on the IRIS Dena seem to forget that the U.S. Navy has surface vessels that could have captured the ship, and held the crew (or allowed them to defect). But apparently, it was important to prove that the Navy can still torpedo a frigate.

@Dripdog @RealCynicalFox Go look at the FLIR video from the sinking - you’ll see two light grey masses behind the exhaust plume, which is white. Those are missile canisters. Get some manners with the perspective when you do.

@Dripdog @RealCynicalFox No, they didn’t. There are two canisters mounted aft behind the superstructure on the main deck: those are C-802 Surface missiles.
