I condemn the act in the strongest terms. Military authorities are conducting a criminal probe of the matter and will take appropriately harsh disciplinary action against the offender.
While Christians are being slaughtered in Syria and Lebanon by Muslims, the Christian population in Israel thrives unlike elsewhere in the Middle East. Israel is the only country in the region that the Christian population and standard of living is growing. Israel is the only place in the Middle East that adheres to freedom of worship for all. We express regret for the incident and for any hurt this has caused to believers in Lebanon and around the world.

Concernant le sujet de la natalité, et pour aller au-delà des analyses de surface sur les moyens financiers, car objectivement, le niveau de vie du Marocain moyen s'est largement amélioré depuis les années 90, le problème est beaucoup plus profond.
Dans cette sorte d'archéo-modernité bâtarde vécue par nos compatriotes, le "je" a remplacé le "nous". L'émancipation de la communauté par l'individu implique désormais la jouissance matérielle immédiate, le refus du sacrifice, l'indifférence par rapport à l'impératif de transmission. Et cela veut dire moins d'enfants, et plus de consommateurs isolés.
La famille, étant le dernier espace non-marchand, est entrain d'être combattue par un système de production, pas par un idéologie étatique ou une dynamique sociétale profond.
