It seems like all roads lead to celibacy, getting fit, wanting to be alone, and making more and more money.

The Tuju story makes me think most of us just don’t read contracts I’ll give my example. A few years ago I got into a small accident and the insurance paid for my repairs ( about 150k ) and I went on with my day. 3 months later I got into another issue requiring 100k repairs

Cheap clients don't just underpay they over-demand, over-criticize, and over-complicate. Firing them isn't losing revenue. It's making room for better clients. I fired 1 this year. Best decision I've made in a long time.

Behind a man who drives a classy car was once a boy who was watching other men having it all. Dear son, be patient. Your page is about to turn.

@dexxe It's actually $900. Got my 128GB set at only $340 last year. This year it would cost more than buying a new engine😅.

a friend of mine disappeared for months... no updates, no posts, i mean absolutely nothing. people assumed things weren’t going well cos in this era, silence usually means struggle but then one random afternoon, she resurfaced with a simple update: new city, new job and a new life already in motion. that’s when it clicked to me that she wasn’t absent, she was just focused while everyone else was talking about what they planned to do, she was actually doing it... no pressure and no outside opinions shaping her decisions, just quiet execution and maybe that’s the real edge some people don’t chase attention while they’re building, they just let the results make the noise later.

There's something I always tell students. You see that degree you are studying, when you finally earn it, you will join a global pool of peers. You will be out there with your credentials, in the same pool as kids who attended MIT, Oxford, ETH Zurich, UC whatever, UCT, Kyoto.... everywhere. Even within your class cohort, some kids playing high league. How are you going to compete with your 'Rada?' as greetings? There's zero space for mediocrity. Last year, our department had 4 kids compete winning Mandela Fellowship. For every one of those kids are 50 others who have no chance. The Rada Team. Continue encouraging your own to be mediocre.

How do you genuinely react to this?
