@GovernorShapiro Is there any citizenship verification when drivers are automatically registered to vote? If not, someone needs to bring full attention to this before federal elections are corrupted (again.)

From now on in Pennsylvania, if you’re an eligible voter getting or renewing your driver’s license or ID card at the DMV, you will be automatically registered to vote unless you choose to opt out. Pennsylvania is an automatic voter registration state.

Good for Kentucky's Democrat Governor Andy Beshear. He refuses to commit to appointing a Republican to Mitch McConnell's Senate seat if Mitch needs to step down for health issues. Until 2021 a Governor of Kentucky could fill a Senate seat with a person of either party of their choice to represent all the people of Kentucky. Since Beshear's election, the GOP state General Assembly changed the law to limit the governor's power to fill a vacancy in the Senate. Under the new law the state Senate submits 3 names to him of the outgoing's senator's party. The new bill allows a small number of people in the Senate who do not represent the entire state to pick their favorites for the job and not the best candidate. The law is at odds with the Kentucky Constitution. Kentucky has not had a Democrat for a Senator since 1999. Rand Paul is the other Senator from Kentucky. No matter what happens to Mitch, it is time for a change in Kentucky. Actually, it is long overdue. #FreshWords #VoteBlueToProtectDemocracy

@JamesSurowiecki His point is that the Polio vaccine was actually effective. In fact, it was so effective in eradicating Polio that there’s people who don’t even get the Polio vaccine (Amish etc) & there’s still no pandemic.

What is Cernovich talking about? Almost everyone reading this in the U.S. has been vaccinated against polio. And polio vaccination is part of the routine childhood immunization schedule.

@PEJ1952 @ScottAdamsSays Seattle is quite nice. It was 73 and a touch windy today. I had a bowl of soup, did a little work getting m classroom ready, and got an inoculation against shingles. Then I played a little pickleball. The whole day costed 6 bucks (4 the soup.) going home now to make some pasta.

Hawaii is ten minutes from turning Republican.
