I live in a double-wide mobile home. I bought it myself. It needs a lot of work. I have to fix the living room floor. The subfloor is old and warping. I have to do it myself, which I am excited to do. I like to learn new skills. I own the land. It is a humble home. Not what I wanted but what I could afford. I bought below my means because I wanted to be responsible. I hate it in some ways, because something is always wrong. When I bought it there was over 10k of damage they lied about. Within 2 years I needed a new furnace - 8k, another thing they lied about. But I love it, because it is mine. I love what I will make over the years. I will likely never be able to buy a different home because of the cost. So If I am here into my 90s, It will be mine. I have an incredible hard time asking for help but I did set up a GiveSendGo. I havent shared it because of my pride. I don't like to be the recipient of charity, it makes me feel like I am a failure. But I am humbling myself because I admittedly need help with this.
