@muddymuddymum I confess I’m scared of chickens. I was chased all around the farmyard once by a feisty rooster 🤣🤣🤣

I love chickens. I have reared chickens since I was small, even bred them. Farmer loves eggs. I thought it was a win win. But I didn't know until this week that he actually hates chickens. He thinks they're evil and out to get him. 🤣🤣🤣

Mum (me) is being mean... Feeding a bottle to the new lamb while the big lambs are being weaned! I had to move away from the fence as they tried to take the bottle!?!

@NancyPa36563217 Yeah I agree with that. Knowing the fact that they can and will eat humans is enough. We had a pig growing up. He ate my chickens.

@muddymuddymum From being bitten whilst mucking out barns as a kid, I think pigs are evil pricks out to devour their keepers!

@Not_wavingbut Yes, they have milk from day one and then we introduce lamb creep (which they mostly play with). Straw and hay. And I introduce them to grass before they're turned out.

@muddymuddymum Do they eat hay indoors? Do they have a mix of milk and solid for a while like human babies?

@GladysKuhn3 I can probably agree with you there. I've had many cockerels dispatched due to their temperament. I find those with red coloured eyes to be the biggest problem.

@muddymuddymum I have no issue with chickens, but roosters and geese are another matter entirely.

Not a single animal on the farm respects my personal space.... And I don't mind.

Farmer has given milky chops his evening feed. "Cor, he's sucking the bottle well" Says Farmer, followed by "I think he's filling out already". I think my work here is done 🤣 Machine tomorrow!

A lamb has got out from one of the fields, it turns out some fence has been damaged. Which repair is farmers? And which repair is mine? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

@Liz_Lash They are teasey. Normally I would do a soft wean where I gradually weaken and reduce the milk over to water but studies say a hard wean is better. We shall see...
