After a very long time ordered an @Olacabs for a rental booking for 8am this morning for 8 hours. At 7.20am received a call from the driver. He asked me if I can cancel the booking and pay him directly. I said NO. Then @Olacabs promptly cancelled my booking without intimating or replacement. Then I remembered why I stopped using this service. Will never again. Ever. Even though I do have great respect for the brand and all that they stand for.

@ola_supports Hey Team, it’s time to act immediately now. We booked the most expensive Ola service, thinking it would be safe, and we are stuck for about 45mins in this shitty experience, where we are billed 3x than original price, no one is calling and there is no action; we will report this!

@ola_supports - I just did a ride of rental and there is extra 126.2km that is reported. The cost is 3x to what is genuine. Act immediately! I am waiting!

@banglani My experience with this segment is - more than the returns, it’s about holding someone responsible for the returns and get that pressure of money management out of one’s mind specifically with folks wanting to put more than 50L. The Uncle represented that ownership delegation.

Fi just got regulatory sandbox approval to use VideoKYC to open NRE/NRO accounts. Can't wait for this to become the norm for NRI's. This is big. Will remove a lot of the friction and associated high costs with bank account opening. good on Fi.
